Ryzen 3600 & RX 9060 XT

Greetings to all! I have a B450M DS3H V2, Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB of RAM 3200mhz CL16, RX 5600XT and 1080p 75hz Monitor.
Would the 3600 with the 9060 xt be a good combo? How much performance loss would there be due to the bottleneck?
I don't play multiplayer.

For 75 FPS / 1080p, No. With AAA games that are out currently, you won't have any issues reaching that. Bottleneck wouldn't be that big either, maybe something like 15% in most case. 9060 XT isn't really "that" powerful all things considered, we are talking about GTX 3070 level of performance, and that GPU came out when 3600 was a year old. And that wasn't an uncommon pairing back then.

It would be a good combo only because of your 1080p 75fps target. Even though the 3600 will hold it back a noticeable amount at 1080p, you’ll probably still get the performance for 1080p 75hz at least.
It’s impossible to calculate how much performance would be lost, but I personally would want at least a 5600 paired with a 9060 XT

Definitely a decent bit of bottlenecking, but likely nothing unplayable - but definitely recommend a CPU upgrade in the near future

He should go for the 9600x3d when it comes out.
