First build in a while, rate my PartPicker before I pull the trigger.

Wanted to stay around 2500 but willing to go up to 3 if it's worth it somewhere.

This is my final build recommendation.

Better PSU, arguably better GPU especially for the price. just as nice RAM but way less expensive. Gen 4 nvme, you can buy a gen 5 later. They are overpriced and serve no benefits right now. All for under 2200. Make sure you have a nice ass monitor to go with it.

I wouldn't bother with Gen 5 drives yet. They are overpriced, and you can just get one later if you want, its entirely up to you, though. You won't see a single but of difference in gaming using either right now.
My main recommendation is getting a 9070 xt. The driver updates that came our recently make it a no-brainer plus fsr4. Then again, if you really want 24gb of vram.....

Go for a cheaper motherboard, no reason to pay that much unless they need any unique features it has.
Cheaper ram as well, also if its for gaming 64Gb is unnecessary, 32Gb is plenty
Grab a cheaper power supply, the one I picked is still A tier on spl's tier list.
you can also get a faster ssd for less money
Everything else looks good.

Thank you, this all makes sense. I'll probably go with something close to this.

How about $2100? What are you using this PC for?

I think you should go with two 2 terabyte ssd's.
BentAndBusted@reddit (OP)
One will be fine, Ive been using a 2 for a long time now without any issue.
mage_irl@reddit
Looks like a good build for that budget, I have no issues with this at all, although I would personally go with the 9070 XT over the 7900 XTX for the better Ray Tracing that will be mandatory in many new games and higher efficiency at the cost of just a little performance in rasterization
