I have planned to build a PC with a ryzen 7 7700x and 32 gbs of ram to play at 1080p, but I'm unsure of which one to choose, i mostly play shooters, which includes cod and this one prefers a lot AMD, but i don't know which one to choose, is a lot of money and I don't want to make an unsure buy

Get the 9070 and call it a day it outperforms the 5070 and 16 gb VRAM future proofs your build. Unless your on a really tight budget or you prefer Nvidia than get the cheaper 5070

If you also edit than consider the RTX 5070 bcz no matter how great the gaming performance an AMD GPU has it always tanks in productivity by a lot
Resolve heavily uses the GPU and really likes Nvidia GPU and has proper support for them

9070 will net you about 5 more FPS on average, and in some games 5070 will even outperform it, so performance wise it's basically a wash. Plus DLSS4 is objectively better. 9070 could be worth the extra $100 if you could really use it's extra 4GB of VRAM (but it doesn't sound like you will). So 5070 makes most sense in your case IMO.

The 9070 is already faster than the 5070 in raster and has more vram, plus u playing cod which HEAVILY favours it more than the majority of games favour either Nvidia or AMD it makes it a pretty easy choice which you should go for imo (9070 to be clear lol)

yeah just get 5070 if the diffrence is 100 dollar more.if its only 50 dollar diffrence to its msrp.i guess 9070 better but if more than 100,well for me its not really worth it.

Get whatever is cheaper

If you're just playing at 1080p and wanna save money, then the 5070 will be sufficient.
