Final check on if my parts list is good.

Good evening everyone. I am going to be building a new PC soon for mostly competitive games (although I do need to start playing more single player. games) at 1440p 180hz (overclocked from 165hz). I mainly play Apex, Fortnite, etc., and I want to upgrade from what I have. I will MAYBE use my machine for video editing such as After Effects, but otherwise my MacBook will be perfect for that. I have researched some parts so far and want the general consensus on what to change and what not. I am looking to stay around $1800 to $2000, as I am going to sell my old PC for around $700. Cheers!
the prices are different at micro center near me

$100 cheaper. Could upgrade to the 9800x3D for the same price as your current build. But I wouldn't recommend using an AsRock MoBo with the 9800x3D, still sketchy.

This is the one, it’s a beast for 1440p gaming I run the same CPU/GPU. My advice for op would be don’t go cheap on a monitor like I did at first. I just got a 1440p 240 hz monitor which I should’ve gotten before instead of a 144 hz monitor

I have a 9800x3D and a 9070 XT. It's good. I went 1440p 170hz because monitors are expensive

I’m on a 1440p 180hz monitor, so that should be good right?
gazerbraden@reddit
Yeah thats solid, I went up to 240 because I got greedy and wanted more.

So i could use the Gigabyte card instead of the Powercolor card and not really lose all that much?

Gigabyte is nicer than the Hellhound

All 9070 XT GPUs perform the same. There is usually only a 1-3% difference in performance between models. The biggest things are thermal performance and noise.
