This is the view from my bedroom window. I live about 750m from the runway. Even tho I'm not really into aviation, it is cool to see planes that close and even sometimes military aircraft. I saw what I believe was a C130, Blackhawks and Chinhooks. Pretty dope

Trade houses?ðŸ˜

Our house was built in the 70s and completely renovated in 2016 and somehow there are 2 windows framed with wood. They are both at an angle but none of the others are framed in wood.
Not a trade house tho

what airport?
Lord-Heller@reddit
I guess it's FRA - Frankfurt am Main.
Oxygen_Converter@reddit
With c-130s and balckhawks I'd guess Stuggart but don't recall if I've seen Condor operate out of there.

How do you sleep?
TomatoeToken@reddit (OP)
They don't allow starts beyond 11pm and landings beyond 11:30. The airport starts back up at six. In the summer it's gruelling when sleeping with open windows when an airplane soars by, you kinda get used to it and I started sleeping with earplugs.
Our windows have 4 layers of glass which makes them especially soundproof. Rent is lower here which is nice and getting to the airport when going on vacation is a joke. Before we moved here it was a 20-30min car ride or 40 by public transport. Now it's a 10min walk and one stop by train. There's a McDonald's in said airport which means sometimes after school we take the train there just to get McDonald's.
