What was your experience like in a clinical trial?

Ignore the people saying they’re dangerous. While the chances of serious side affects aren’t zero, safety standards have gone up so much since the elephant man trials that the chances of anything bad happening are slim to none, even from first human dose trials. I’ve been doing clinical trials as a healthy volunteer every 3-4 months since I turned 18, I’m nearly 22 now and I’ve had zero side affects that have stayed with me after the clinic. I’ve made nearly £30,000 for a few weeks of my time every few months, which I fit in through the gaps between semesters at uni. I’m genuinely clueless as to why more people don’t sign up for trials, because they are the easiest tax free money you will ever make. Paid a couple grand to sit on your phone/laptop for a few nights and have blood and vital signs taken every few hours. Easy as can be.
