My Linux Workflow After 5 Years (Tools I Use Daily)
Posted by OnlyDemor@reddit | linux | View on Reddit | 9 comments
After five years of using Linux as my daily driver, I finally decided to make a video about the software I rely on every day.
My goal is to help fellow Linux users discover some new tools, and maybe even encourage non-Linux users to consider giving it a shot

posting a video doesn’t actually promote discussion. you’ll get much more engagement if you post something we can read.

Thanks for the feedback but I specifically wanted to make a video so that it could reach also non linux users. Writing a blog post is a good idea but only when you already wanna talk to a specific audience and not try to get other people involved, also it's not really a deep dive into the configuration of every single program i use,it's just a general overview of what my daily usage of linux looks like

i’m not saying don’t make a video lol. but if your wanna have a discussion on r/linux about it, a text post is gonna get more engagement.

That's pretty harsh. OnlyDemor has put 5 years into this project, sorta, and it's probably wonderful. I wouldn't know though, because Ublock Origin said went into Pootie Tang mode and said "nay no my brother" when I clicked.

I just saw the same thing posted in 50 different subs and that screams spam - especially for a paid service.
