In my experience, I have had the most trouble with Rams. Running up my ass on the highway, trying to get me to go faster or move over even though I have no place to go. The first truck that I saw rolling coal with a huge exhaust pipe in the bed. Getting mad, I took a spot they thought was theirs even though they were on the other side of the parking lot. All Ram truck drivers. Something about that truck brings out the hyper aggressive side 9f their personality.

About 10 years ago, I started driving a LOT. I had always taken long trips but that was when I started leaving like every weekend, year-round. 95 from NYC to The Cape and then back. I started noticing a pattern: most of the dickhead drivers were driving Nissan Rogues. This was right before all the “big Altima energy” stuff but that exists for a reason. 95 goes down to 2 lanes from the 91/95 intersection near Hartford, and there is invariably some asshole in a Rogue or an Altima, tailgating and cutting off people while switching lanes. It’s the worst.

seamallowance@reddit
I assume (with acknowledged prejudice) that a typical Altima owner is a young, recently-married guy and this is the first new car that he has ever financed. “They” bought the car because they have two children under five years of age. Note the car seats.
Yet, he hasn’t yet gotten the “young man angst” out of his system, so he drives 10 mph over, changes lanes way too often and drives like a complete turd.

It's because Nissan will finance anyone meaning even a lot of broke af people can pick one up. Not discounting some life circumstances, but there is a certain thought pattern that a lot of broke af people have and that leads to a lot of less than good decision making. Those decisions leave them with the only car brand that will even attempt to finance them but then they keep making their dumb decisions and rip the bumper off their versa that still has paper plates. And this isn't a shot a low income people saying they could be wealthy if they just changed their mindset. Its a shot at people who prob would have more money on hand than they usually do if they just made better choices and that their decision making process is evident by the dents, scrapes and smashed bumpers on their Altimas. These people just make bad choices no matter how old they get.

My cousin just bought a 2017-era Altima. I think he got it at a buy-here-pay-here, it’s clearly been in some kind of front-end accident and repaired sketchily, and it’s got over 100,000 miles on it.
And to top that off, he gets in lots of wrecks and incurs plenty of speeding tickets. I think it’s just the car for him. At least when people hear the screech of tires and the wail of that CVT, they’ll have some time to get clear.
slowwolfcat@reddit
there kinda pointless asking you for advice.
bearded_dragon_34@reddit
Not really.
You don’t want to add a mechanically unreliable car to the mix, on top of everything else. So if he had called me, I’d have told him to at least get something else.
He probably overpaid for the Altima, or could end up owing more than it’s worth if he wrecks it. Again, had he called me, I’d have been able to steer him toward a deal that made financial sense, and not at a buy-here-pay-here.

RicoViking9000@reddit
sounds like the comment flew over your head. regulations mandate that EVs only activate brake lights when they’re de accelerating at a certain rate of speed. A good driver will use regen to stop at a slower rate than many are used to with their friction brakes, but if they’re stopping more lightly than usual, they aren’t accelerating at a fast enough negative rate to enable the brake lights.
Hyundai/Kia had to recall their vehicles because they were falsely turning brake lights on

Lifted Ram coal-burner. Shit-tons of them around where I live. Pissiest of piss-ass drivers.
It-is-always-Steve@reddit
Any relatively new luxury car with unrepaired body damage.
Skid-Vicious@reddit
The scuzzy people driving them are their dirtbag grandkids who inherited the Merc after they passed.
For me, it's any Dodge product. If you see one in the wild, use defensive driving skills to put yourself in a different area of the planet. If they're not doing something stupid, they're about to.

C class or cla with the halogen headlight and limo tints
Vidson05@reddit
I saw an amg c class yesterday; lowered, window tints, arabic letters on the back window, and a giant dent the whole way down the passenger side of the car.
Surprisingly enough it was driven by a white woman with her kids in the back, wonder what the story on that is.

I don't see Dodge Darts very often, but when I do, they're speeding past a little too close for comfort, or refusing to merge, and acting like everyone else is the problem

Tacoma's, Chargers, Challengers, Jeep Gladiators.
In LA, BMW 7 series and G wagons too, or any luxury SUV. Driven by a careless moron
Mister_Rogers69@reddit
As someone who daily drives a Grand Marquis I see no issue with this stereotype
Seversaurus@reddit
Lightly marked or unmarked cop cars. Where i live, there's lots of cop cars that are marked with special markings that you can only see from certain angles, otherwise they look normal. There are tells besides the markings but I always stay clear of them because they seem to dive fairly erratically compared to more obvious cruisers.

Before that, it was larger Oldsmobiles and Buicks. My grandmother’s last car was a 1992 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight. Being comfortably under 5’ in height, she had to sit on a stack of cushions to see over the dashboard.
AshlandPone@reddit
Our ninety eight has seats that rise, so did my gen2 SHO. My mother is 4'11 and never had a problem driving either?
bearded_dragon_34@reddit
For whatever reason, my grandmother used the cushions. Maybe her height adjustment was broken.
AshlandPone@reddit
Quite possibly.
My friend's mother has an Elantra GT she bought brand new in 2013. She didn't know, until i showed her, that the seat could be raised. She'd owned the car for 6 years at that point, complaining the whole time about sitting too low. Just never to me.
AshlandPone@reddit

oldmanlikesguitars@reddit
I’ve been in Texas and Oklahoma the last few years. Any bigass emotional support truck is likely being driven by someone who drives really aggressively. Extra points for lift, huge wheels and low profile tires.
Work trucks? Usually fine, unless it’s a self employed guy with a lifted F-250. Plain old Silverado? Same level of aggression as the rest of Texas, which is still too much but you know. Gender affirming oversized Ram? Avoid him, let him pass cuz he’ll 100% weave across 4 lanes of traffic to pass on the right shoulder before reaching back into the passing lane which he thinks is his by Divine Right.

In the urban part of the Plains Midwest... black Jeeps. They have no patience or consideration. They believe their vehicle can and should go wherever it wants. They will cut you off. They will not signal. They will ignore you at a 4-way stop. They will play chicken on a short merge. They will ride the shoulder to jump queue on a crowded off-ramp. They will brake check a semi at 60 mph.
Weirdly, in this locale, Wranglers are the exception. Almost every Wrangler driver is especially predictable and considerate. I believe they may be thinking of protecting their investment.

Mostly teslas just because they are so oblivious. Recently I’ve seen an uptick of extremely aggressive older Honda accords. I’d also add any uber or Lyft drivers, they seem to always be lost and on their phones.

Theres a certain look of car that screams, "we took away grandma's License, the same week our kid got out of Prision/Rehab so they're gonna drive it while they get back on their feet". it's hard to put your finger on but i can spot them a mile away.
