Trouble finding a waterproof pouch/sleeve

Hello, im going to sail on a friend's catamaran for 1 month soon. And i want to buy a waterproof sleeve/pouch to put my laptop, e-reader and passport. Its been harder than i tought to find something. I found these (https://imgur.com/a/Bn7zXFX) but i dont need 3 and they seem of bad quality... I also looked waterproof map holder and found this one from sea to summit but its pretty expensive. I just want a waterproof pouch like those small for phones, but the size of my small laptop (A4 paper). I also tried to look some "waterproof document holder" but its always big huge things. I want to also use it while backpacking so i dont want a super heavy thing. What do you use, sailors of reddit ? Thanks

Got one of these recently and it's working out great, even for swimming: Pelican-Marine-Waterproof-Floating-Detachable

My laptop lives in this bag. It shouldn’t ever be getting wet but that helps my peace of mind incsse someone forgot to close a hatch or I need to take it to shore and don’t want to take a larger waterproof bag. I also have a small waterproof bag like the clear pouch for when I take the phone on dinghy adventures, and a small waterproof shore bag that I use on a daily basis.

If my laptop is getting wet on a large cruising catamaran. It means i left it on deck and it’s raining, I left it on deck and have sea spray coming over the deck or the boat is sinking.
On the first two. I’m an idiot. Last case. I needn’t be worried about my laptop.
Remember your waterproof bag keeps water out but it also keeps water In.
Large ziploc freezer bag(they are usually a heavier material) and maybe some desiccant pouches.
If you are worried. Double bag it.

Its not a huge catamaran, like no "house" between the two hulls

I'm not clear on what this "not huge" catamaran looks like, but this is beginning to sound like it might not be a good environment to bring a laptop into, even in a waterproof bag. If it's an open boat you're on, you probably won't be able to use laptop without taking it out of the bag. If the boat has enclosed living accommodations in each hull where you can take electronics out to use, I would think you shouldn't really need to protect them when under way.
Have you considered something like a Pelican case or the Harbor Freight equivalent? They're waterproof, padded, and sturdy.

How big. If you are going to out on this for a month. Where are you sleeping, eating, storing your clothes?
No way I’d take a laptop on an open sailboat for a month with no Cabin.

hint, put in some foam to add displacement so it will not sink.

I have those, they are absolutely not waterproof
Guygan@reddit
Use a gallon size Ziploc bag.

Are they really water proof for a 1000€ laptop ? I dont really want to risk it
