This is insane, btw what's going on really?

Why would that be insane? It‘s a small part of the Emirates fleet departing. They usually start and land in Dubai around the same time, like they do on many hub airports

Must be chaos at baggage claim when a flock like that lands…

You would think that, but DXBs Emirates baggage claim is excellent and massive. Something like 20 carrousels. By the time you get through immigration your bag is often waiting for you.

Access to thousands of immigrants at almost slave labor rates helps massively.

The terminal baggage system is fairly well automated. They did a whole documentary on it.

FRAs baggage claim would fail, if two of them arrived in the same hour 😂

I guess there are a lot of connecting flights as many people use that airport as a hub, not as a destination.

This guy hasn't been to DUX. Crazy feeling when you're going past 20 of those lined up at one terminal

Yeah that is just another day for the gulf carriers. They just aren't on their usual flight path over Europe because of the closed airspace between Israel and Iran.

They actually are flying through Iraq again now

They all were late to the A380 farewell.

Woah. Nine A380s! And 4 WiFi + 5 cell bars = Nine! And 28% battery = 2 + 8 - 1 = Nine! Spooky pattern.

Emirates operates 3 daily flights A380 flights to LHR alone (if I remember correctly). Then, think about all the other destinations in the UK (Birmingham, Gatwick, Manchester) then all of the other European destinations that will have something like 2 daily flights. Emirates has the largest A380 fleet for a reason

Glasgow has a daily A380 service too now.

There are 3 daily A380 flight to Manchester. There are 6/7 daily flights to Heathrow

I think that pack of Emirates 380s are chasing the Etihad 380.

Whatever track and waypoints they are all following should probably be renamed “wake turbulence highway”, waky-waky, wake up, wake-the-F-up, oh-shit.

Emirates have something like 116 A380s in service. Nine is not an outrageous number.
