Where in Philly do you recommend for a discovery flight?

Title says it all. I want to see if I’m interested in flying. Please recommend reputable flight schools. Starting from scratch here.

I did my discovery flight and PPL at KLOM in Bluebell with FlyGateway back in 2021.

That depends where you are in Philly. There are a number of options. But you should know that severe anxiety as you've described in another post is disqualifying factor to getting your pilot's license. Don't want you to spend money on a discovery flight to find out it's not a path you're able to pursue. I recommend looking into that first.

Lll thanks for snooping my history and why would that be an issue if I’m getting treatment? If someone else vouches for what you say I’ll worry about it. Seems like fear mongering, punching down and gatekeeping on your part.

You cannot be on anxiety medications and fly. They didn’t exaggerate. Zoloft and Xanax are not approved methods of managing anxiety in the flying world.

Thanks for your concern but I’m not on Xanax anymore and Zoloft is one of the four SSRIs the FAA approves of. Maybe research a little better.

Either wings or Northeast, highly recommend wings. Not as congested as NE philly or Trenton.

When I lived in NJ my buddy flew out of Teterboro, but that was 50 years ago, no idea what it's like now. That's one busy corridor. Good luck though!

These guys were good to me when I flew/trained/rented from them at PNE https://maps.app.goo.gl/dBPyFijzRKhK2eZRA?g_st=ic
