I am looking for experience with working with/ caring for horses. Does anyone need a farmhand?

I’d like to volunteer some time every week to work with horses/ on a farm. I’d want to learn about maintaining a ranch/ farm and raising/ keeping horses as I’d like to train them some day for equestrian-assisted therapy (though I have a long way to go). I have some riding experience.

Well, it's not a farm but this place -- provides riding lessons in my neighborhood -- often looks for part-time help in the care and feeding of their horses. Rocking J Stables https://www.rockingjstables.com/
Another one in my area is Merriwood Ranch. https://merriwoodranch.com/ Horse riding school and camp with shows and competitions.
It's worth contacting them to at least discuss your search -- horsey people are a club and they all know other horsey people!
Good luck,

Lakeview Equine-Assisted Service. The owner is an excellent equestrian. Alexandria needs some help with some camps coming up and no experience is needed. Highly recommend
