How do you even get to be a part off tallshipracing
Professional-Mix1771@reddit (OP)
You can easily join a cruise on two polish tall ships here: https://www.3oceans.pl/en/

Thank you!

Windseeker is the agent for several of the ships if you don't qualify for the youth training scheme stuff (or aren't a member of one of the navies taking part).

Significantly cheaper than yachting tbh

First: get a tall ship

You probably have to be able to sing shanties as well.

I wish there was a live cam on board of these tall ships.

In Pennsylvania all I had to do was show up and be willing to do either disgusting or dangerous things, sometimes simultaneously. Real sailors know what I’m talking about. You haven’t lived until you’ve tarred rigging aloft, or fixed black water plumbing in the bilge while under way.

Plenty of past experience on a tourist diveboat where every couple of days someone was apparently unable to read the multiple, large, illustrated "no paper in the toilet" signs. Maybe I should sign up.

My condolences

Yup, check out Lettie in Erie PA, or liberty clipper in Boston, Lynx is homeporting in Georgia these days and the pride of Baltimore two is in Baltimore (surprise)

Does Shenandoah out of Marthas Vineyard count? I lost track of her years ago

Gazela in Philly was “my” ship for years.

This has been my experience racing sails as well, granted those weren’t tall ships though

Beautiful vestal . Many years ago I traveled on the tall ship California out underneath the golden gate bridge and 50 miles out around the faralon islands and back to San Francisco it was amazing and made me love sailing all the more.

So cool, I start my leg in a few days on Pogoria.

I do love a square rig!

That is a beautiful sight
