Just built a pc and using a gigabyte b650, im stuck in a loop of going to bios because i cant find a boot sequence. I tried resetting the cmos battery, i tried csm support, i tried reinstalling my ram and gpu. Im sorry for keeping this an ongoing problem in this sub, but i really need help. Been looking it up on youtube but nothing really helps.

You need to go into the bios and select your boot drive, then install windows to that drive using Windows media creation tool.

I go into bios and it recognizes my nvme as a peripheral, but it doesn’t recognize my nvme nor my usb drive as a boot sequence, sorry if im sounding dumb.

No, you don't sound dumb. Did you do this?
How to setup boot order in BIOS?
ManagerRecent1989@reddit (OP)
Just did this and it sent me straight back to bios
AnxiousJedi@reddit
That sounds like there is a problem with the USB. Did you just download the Windows Media creation tool, or actually run it?

Hey so i actually got the boot sequence, I noticed a dram light red so i fixed that by reseating my cpu, so now im out of bios so i guess thats good. But theres no display after exiting bios
AnxiousJedi@reddit
Does it recognize your USB as a boot device?

Yes thats how i got out of it im pretty sure, but now the screens showing no display after

My best guess is that there's a problem with the USB stick. Try running the media creation tool on that USB again.

Tried it nothings change i think its a problem with the gpu, but i already tried getting display with integrated graphics but that also didnt work
AnxiousJedi@reddit
If it were a problem with the GPU you wouldn't see the BIOS either.

Just thought thats what it was because i went to people who had similar problems, maybe it is my usb but i already did the media creation tool. Do you think i need to get a newer usb?
AnxiousJedi@reddit
I wouldn't get a new USB stick yet. Try running the media creation tool again. Watch a guide or two just to make sure you are doing everything right Also, next time you are in the BIOS hit F5 to set everything back to default.
You could also try using the integrated graphics by plugging your HDMI/display port cable into the motherboard instead of the GPU. I don't think that's the problem, but it doesn't hurt to check.

Nothings changed and with integrated graphics i still get to bios but after i exit its just the same no display
ManagerRecent1989@reddit (OP)
Alright im gonna try
DisplayNo1322@reddit
Then set your usb as the boot drive.
AnxiousJedi@reddit
I cant understand what you meant. You cannot find a boot device, or you cannot find a place in the bios to change the boot sequence?
ManagerRecent1989@reddit (OP)
Both i guess, in easy bios it says it cant find a booting sequence, but it recognizes my nvme as a peripheral, but it doesnt recognize it as a boot sequence and it doesn’t recognize my usb drive
AnxiousJedi@reddit
Do you have another PC to check the USB stick with?
ManagerRecent1989@reddit (OP)
I sadly dont, i used my friends pc to download windows 11 onto the usb.
