The sailboat is pointing left but the wake from it is for one sailing right. Sorry to mention it but the sailor in me couldn't resist but otherwise it's nice work. Most drawings I see of sailboats have technical errors so don't feel bad.

Could be both sails up pulled taut, dead wind, current flowing backwards but rear attached anchor. (I completely agree with you this is not right but it COULD be possible.)

What does "Nagai" mean here? In Japanese, it means "long".
