I uploaded a screenshot of Linux saying it had a bug on Threads and the meltdown it caused was insane. I wish I took screenshots of everything.
I thought Reddit was bad, but Linux users are horrid. The smugness of "We are smarter than everyone else cause we use a shitty OS" while also skipping out on basic logic was insane to see.
A lot of them had a lot of unresolved trauma that they were taking out on me all because I mentioned Linux had a bug.
My theory is that a lot of these guys just like problem solving an issue on linux because like a small victory for them. Like beating a quest on a video game, or finishing a puzzle. Regular people don’t like fighting with their computers all the time.
I’m sorta the same way with my plex server. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on hard drives just because I didn’t want to pay a monthly fee to netflix. Its pointless but the satisfaction I get out of it trumps how impractical it is.
Its funny because the biggest criticism of Win11 is that its filled with bloat but its so easy to remove that stuff nowadays. I just dont get it
Windows 11 has been being used, at least in beta, for what, 5 years now? The amount of huge unfixed bugs is making me wish I didn't ~~upgrade~~ downgrade to it. And knowing microsoft, they'll never be fixed.

My foray into Linux has had more problems in a couple of months than I have had with Windows in a decade. It still crashes on the regular.
