Is this a good price? If not what would you suggest around this price range? (AUD “Australian Dollars” btw)

Hiya mate, fellow Aussie
Personally I feed parts into ChatGPT and ask it to research the parts on Scorptec or closest equivalent and find the total cost, to see how much the company is up marking it.
It lists around $1,750 for all the parts. Keep in mind aftershock also have support and warranty which counts for an extra few hundred dollars.
I’ve just bought myself a new PC and I bought it from Radium; they were super quick and a lot cheaper than other places, and were great to liaise with via email. Same day responses.
I’ve had issues with aftershock support, however their product is fine, my first PC was from them.
TL;DR Price is on par with what you would expect, check out some other vendors and shop around.

alright cool, thanks for the reply dude
Yeah I honestly have no idea what I’m doing as I’m just trying to get a foot into PC gaming so I thought I’d ask around, thanks :)

Have any clue what you were wanting to play?

well to be completely honest I’m more so wanting it for other things but id want to play most modern games at decent settings and emulate classic games. Im after something that runs graphic design and music production software with ease, i heard that to run multiple plugins and stuff for music software it requires a fair bit of power so i knew id need something more then just an average desktop pc.
