Got an interview at AA. Recommendations on prep?
Posted by peepledeedle4120@reddit | flying | View on Reddit | 21 comments
I managed to get the interview without app or resume prep. But I want the prep because I have 2 good TMAAT stories that aren't applicable to every situation. So I think the prep is worth it just for help with that.
Any suggestions?

I'm pretty sure she retired or getting really close to it. Not sure of her involvement anymore, but she was amazing.

Raven had a good system and I enjoyed working with them

Okay I'll check that out. Thank you!

Also, what kind of time do you have?

~3300 TT ~700 TPIC with volunteer work.

That’s nice to hear! Best of luck in the interview

Ascend above was great for me.

I do NOT recommend ascend above. They suck.

To each their own.

What’s your stats if you don’t mind me asking?

I used Spitfire back in 2022…

Spitfire was good, it was more like “here is the best way to present yourself” which I appreciated.
Hate interviewing and don’t think I’m that good at it but those guys got me to a legacy.

That's my goal. This will be the final step so I just wanna get in. So excited/nervous.

Pilot counseling service was the bees knees (now absorbed into Spitfire Elite). Hands down the most fun I ever had interviewing. If you’ve got the interview, it’s your job to lose. Get your documents and logbook nicely arranged and presentable.

Sounds good! I'm really just worried about the TMAAT. Got 2 GA failures that I can easily explain/what I've learned, I have no 121 failures or sim extensions over 4 CQs and upgrade. My hours are all digital, so I'm gonna print it and make a nice binder.

Sweet! Don’t sweat it, AA already saw those. Spitfire will be great then. It’s your story and remains authentic as to what happened, but they help you arrange your thoughts ahead of time and become very presentable. Interviewers asked me if I prepped, I told them yes and they were pleased that I did.

Okay that's great to know about them being happy about the prep.
Like I said, I don't have too many TMAAT stories. Like TMAAT you had a dispute with a CA? Never had that. So I need help with stuff like that.

Spitfire is highly recommended and I’ll vouch for it as well. Definitely do the prep.

That's what I've heard from others too. Thank you!
