It would have been interesting if Beverly and Picard got married during Nemesis

They did. Why do you think it was called Nemesis?
flossdaily@reddit
If the actors had had even a little chemistry, it would have been interesting to see.
VegasBookworm@reddit
That would have been fantastic, but Patrick Stewart would have had a fit. It would have involved having more interaction between JLP and Beverly in the previous movies (aside from fixing his collar in Insurrection), and he was set on Picard being seen as an action hero/ladies' man.
AntelopeAppropriate7@reddit
Ladies’ man??? He had like one romantic interest in the whole show (other than Beverly).
Enchelion@reddit
What? Nah, old flames of his pop up or are mentioned with shocking regularity (we'll always have paris, the girl whose initials he carved into Boothby's tree, the suspected baby-mama, the judge in Measure of a Man). Vash and Daren were both pretty significant flings during the show, and he definitely had chemistry with Kamala. Could also maybe count his wife from the probe-dream life.
Ralph--Hinkley@reddit
I love the end of The Perfect Mate. The 250 year old ambassador asks JLP how he resisted Kamala, and JLP sends him on his way without an answer.
Not sure if you saw the deleted scene where JLP interrupts the wedding to claim his love for Kamala, and says that she is his and will not leave the ship, but it was all in his head and the wedding went on as planned, but that would have sucked if they left that in.

It's weird because he's such a good character, but Stewart seems to have deeply misunderstood the character he was playing and why people liked him.
Unhappy_Run8154@reddit
Wes was having nothing of it, that is why he stormed out of TNG. 😂
452guardian@reddit
Is this when Jack was conceived?

Just realised they have the voyager com badges.
Enchelion@reddit
DS9 badges technically as they borrowed a bunch of them after the intended new designs were canned.
Johnsendall@reddit
It’s from the movie.
bud_4z0@reddit
Nah… Beverly likes being Ghosted 👻
WilsonFloatsAway@reddit
Would have been the only interesting thing about that film
Ephisus@reddit
A lot of writers and directors haven't learned the art of using the Void. Have things happen off screen.
Hypnotician@reddit
It would have become more interesting if they'd got married during the series, such as not long after The Best Of Both Worlds.
TheGreatGamer1389@reddit
Nah Beverly prefers the ghost.
I_lenny_face_you@reddit
The ghostest with the mostest
UncertainStitch@reddit
Only if their romance started in insurrection.
BuddenceLembeck@reddit
Would‘ve been more interesting if they got married butt nekkid…
Just sayin’.
xenomorphonLV426@reddit
They ain't betazoids tho...
garth54@reddit
Doesn't mean you can't follow betazoid tradition.
xenomorphonLV426@reddit
True... aight.
garth54@reddit
Now... To convince my fiancee...
xenomorphonLV426@reddit
Good luck brother.
I wish you the best in life! (And you getting married naked as well! 😜)
garth54@reddit
sorry, forgot the /s on that post.
But still, thanks for the wishes
xenomorphonLV426@reddit
No problem kind stranger!
My wishes of you getting married where also of sarcastic nature. (It would be interesting though...🤣😜)
Enjoy life to the fullest!
Live long and prosper. 🖖🏼
soverytiiiired@reddit
Picard using his power as Captain to order Worf to be naked was an interesting line in this movie
OrcaZen42@reddit
The story of what happened to Picard and Beverly post-Nemesis is way more interesting in “The Autobiography of Jean Luc Picard” than the hot mess we got in Picard s1-s3
Mental-Street6665@reddit
Begin and end the movie with a wedding? In the words of George Lucas, it’s like poetry.
Leucurus@reddit
Yes. It would mean there was one part of that film that I would still be able to remember
MrGeekman@reddit
I don't know if they did, but I know that they got married eventually. It's mentioned in the last episode, All Good Things. It's the one where Picard is shifting through time.
LordOfFudge@reddit
And later realized that they were just better off as fuckbuddies.
garth54@reddit
That future time collapsed and never happened.
Closest answer to future events past TNG is Picard.
watanabe0@reddit
Would it though?
lisakora@reddit
I would have died and does my mother deserve this?! No.

No.
TheAbsoluteBarnacle@reddit
Let's have a couple main characters get married = we don't have any more ideas and you should stop watching
Tasty-Fox9030@reddit
To be fair that is pretty much what happened.
tonytown@reddit
they just went off to make Jack in a closet somewhere during the wedding toasts and then Bev immediately "ghosted" JL for 20 years
