I've lived in Austin too. I really love Austin. There is a lot of natural beauty there, and a lot to do outdoors. So many things. Plus, all you gotta do is head a little west, and it isn't flat.

I also think the UTA presence helps keep the entire city young at heart. Concerts, nightlife, great food, weird.....

And also, it's the capital city. So there's plenty of high-brow stuff too.

Minus few things that can be stretched legally they’re calling for people that come as immigrants and become citizens to be stripped of their American passport in case you torture, murder, committing fraud against Medicaid/Medicare (my undertaking is not patients but doctors who steal money), bring a member of a drug cartel, and hiding a felony conviction during your naturalization process, and bring a national security threat which means extensive records or communication with a suspect terrorist or spy according to the current DOJ policy. Unless I’m missing something, I honestly don’t understand why any sane person would want a person with that background in their country? There have been some questionable laws but this isn’t one of them. US can pick and choose who wants to come here and we need to prioritize educated, mature families with solid morals who will work, and not people that come to a different country and engage in crime.
