Probably, like many chains, got purchased by one of the half a dozen or so conglomerates who use the same shitty suppliers for all of their restaurants. Half the time, it’s just the same crap behind the scenes, shuffled around in a different wrapper to give the illusion of choice in dining.

I can attest they were shit at least as early as 2007 when I worked for them. Abysmal mistreatment by management. It was a new store and the staff that came in to train the place was awful. It is the only place I ever quit because of mistreatment, physical and financial in terms of wage theft. Fuck Cracker Barrel.

I feel like it’s egregious because you can just throw a potato in the oven and then forget it for the better part of an hour, and it’s perfect. It’s the easiest thing anyone can cook lol.

I’m not one to send food back, but, that potato is a crime against civility itself. I wouldn’t ask for a replacement, I’d just ask them to reconsider it 😂
