The best people in this sport can get 21 rounds on target in 25 seconds so there is definitely some improvement to be made.
I also think this is the most fun disipline we have in the Norwegian shooting sport
He means natural point of aim. Essentially it is body positioning with the rifle in relation to the target such that after recoil, the place the rifle returns to is already aligned with the target. It is the foundation upon which long distance shooting is built.
This is a special speed shooting disipline. Two rounds of 25 seconds each. The first is a close hold target at around 100-150 meters. The second hold is a long range target with can be anywhere from 180-250 meters.
In other disiplines like field shooting, targets can be upto 600 meters away. While normal target shooting has a 100 and 200 meter range depending on your class.
For the americans: 100 meters=1140 burgers
If you ever make it to the states lmk, I have every day access to a 3km range that has steel starting at 300m. You can shoot some extreme long range with me and the boys.

So good of a marksman, there's no further training to do. Doesn't even look like you'd be having fun anymore. Seems like it's be bittersweet.

Oh yeah, that's one of the most important routine aspects of all the disiplines I compete in
Kr04704n@reddit
How far is the competition you're shooting? 600 meters or so?
