Stripped lowers are the registered lower, so u still need to send it to an FFl. But usually anderson lowers are $30 stripped. Its pretty simple to build but u do have to be willing to build it and will need a few tools. A punch set, castle nut wrench minimum.

But at $99 you really can't beat the complete lower since building one on the budget end would be atleast:

Lower- $30

Lower parts Kit with trigger- $35 (anderson set on sale usually 50)

Buffer tube kit- $40

Thats not counting tax and shipping on either. And using very budget parts.

B) You can build an upper receiver from scratch or you can buy it completed, making sure to check if it comes with the bolt carrier group (BCG) and charging handle (CH). This is a complete upper with BCG and CH; 300 Blackout

C) I’m not knowledgeable enough to weigh in on their complete AM-15, but this was posted and seems to be a good deal.

Local FFLs ive been to sell aero lowers for $120, $20 more than this Anderson junk and you don't have to pay a transfer fee or possible shipping.

So you'd probably save money and get a better product

Doesn't matter, it's still a receiver, not a rifle, until it's been assembled with a barrel. You could take the stock off and use it to create a pistol.

PSA is a few dollars more and slight better in fit and finish but Anderson is going out of business. If you rly wanted an Anderson lower for shits and giggles and didn’t want to do the build yourself, it’s not a bad way to spend $100.

Or you could get the stripped Anderson lower while they’re in stock for like $30 if you just want one to have one, but it can be hard to finish it with just $70.

I never noticed a difference with PSA lowers vs Anderson. I will say completed AR lowers are worth the premium. The amount of QC issues in budget and even quality LPKs is such a hassle unless you have plenty of spare parts on hand.
