I love running along the canal, through great linford manor park and then round stone pit and into oakridge park. The flood plain forest over near new Bradwell is also nice, and ouzel valley park which stretches south of willen down towards caldecote lake

Willen lake was always good. You can extend it into Campbell park too for a tougher and further feat

I hate the MK festival of running finishing in the xcape and making you climb the pyramid after 20 miles. š¬

Furzton, Caldecotte and Willen lake !

Definitely Ouzel valley park.
Links Willen and Caldecotte if you go longer distances too. You can run down the Ouzel, and back up the canal too, then link back to starting point as well.
I'm not a big fan of running around the lakes during the day, just because of the increase in foot traffic. Take early in the morning is fine though.
I'm sure there will be good places on your door step though - I've run all over Milton Keynes and usually find good routes. Where are you roughly?
It's always best to run from your front door.... helps encourage you to run, it's quicker, saves fuel, etc.

Me too, lovely views

Willen Lake, Tattenhoe linear Park, Willen Caldecott and back, Floodplain reserve, V4 from Stony Stratford to Loughton and back ...
There are dozens of possible routes.

When Iām at work (centre) I run around Teardrop lakes or if I want to go a bit longer I run and on to Furzton and back. I live out west and personally prefer trail running. Tattenhoe valley, boundary walk, into Whaddon and around the back of the prison is nice. Weasel Lane to Winslow is a good run too.

Around the mall in CMK is flat. 5k 2 laps and a bit

I used to run the Ouzel Valley Park when I lived in Simpson. Very pleasant run. I miss it so much since I moved.
TerrifiedRedneck@reddit
Willen or Caldecotte lake are both good. Willen is 5k and Caldecotte a little more.
That said. Point yourself down any redway and youāll make your own route. No matter what people say, running in MK, āFlatā isnāt really a thing. Itās not crazy hilly, but it rolls a fair amount.
