I mean it's is kind of broken...it's a pain in the ass to make magazines for rimmed cartridges. That's why you don't really see 20-30 round magazines for the SVD like you see for stuff like SR-25's or M14's
The fact Russia hasn't tried making a full powered rimless cartridge in over 100 years is mind boggling to me
