Italian ww2 jet fighter

Some time ago I came across some Italian documents from the Second World War that referred to a certain fighter plane. There is little information about the subject, the aircraft (never built) should be called RE 2008 or RE 2007. Does anyone have any more information?

Never heard of it but judging by the other comments it’s a fake, but that doesn’t mean Italian jets aircraft didn’t exist. The Caproni N.1 was a jet powered aircraft that was briefly believed to be the first jet powered aircraft in the world before news about the HE-178 was released.

The Re.2007 is a fake project afaik

Never a real aircraft, sorry to burst your bubble. There’s nothing existing from WWII that looks remotely like that.

That intake looks a bit like a catfish. Just needs some antenna whiskers.

This has been described as a "notorious fake" (or fantasy): https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/the-real-re-2007-story.835/

Pretty sure there is nothing about Re.2007 remaining in terms of actual documents, if the project even existed in the first place.

What exactly are you looking for? There are all sorts of webpages on it. If you aren't specific on what you are asking, you are going to get generic answers.
