Overheard a phone call with someone at the airport. Airport was locked down. TSA running around like crazy and won’t tell anyone anything.
Anyone have more information?

It’s taking longer to get into from the ground? Yesterday, the Hindustan times (out of all sources) was reporting on the Idaho shooting and we had nothing on Reddit or mainstream media.

I first heard about that from AgendaFreeTV on YouTube. Seemed to be a good while after that before I saw anything on Reddit.

Yeah, what was that? Who are those people and how do they know this stuff so quickly?

I think the guy that runs the channel just continually follows tons of sources. I don’t know but I frequently hear stuff from him before anywhere else

You have any sources? Dont see any tweets

No source other than that conversation I overheard. Couldn’t find anything online either. That’s why I’m asking here.

i don’t see a question in the post

You overheard a conversation? How do you know you heard it correctly or in the right context?

It was a coworker in the cube next to mine. Asked him what was going on after he got the phone.

I heard from Jim who’s dating Jenny and her cousin told her that the airport is closed

Was just looking for more information and didn’t see anything online. That’s why I posted here. Maybe someone else could have provided a better idea of what was going on. Glad it was nothing, but that’s the whole point of this sub.

Makes sense, had to ask just to make sure. Definitely will be tracking with curiosity

That’s a big 10-4!

Prolly UFOs flying above the airport

Is it possible it was a code red? We experienced that a few weeks ago in Vegas.
"A code red lightning alert at an airport, within a 3-mile radius, typically signifies a dangerous situation where all ground operations and aircraft movements are halted. This includes activities like boarding, deplaning, baggage handling, and other support functions. The airport community will seek shelter until the threat passes."

As of yet no lockdown reported. Just a massive weather delay with cancelations yesterday.

Takeoffs/landings don’t seem to be impacted

Flight radar has MCO looking like it's at normal operation. I wonder if it's just some unruly passenger at a gate down the line?

Haven't read anything on the news feeds. I don't have an X account, but maybe suggest checking with Steve Lookner's account: @ lookner
