I actually have both too. Yes I am prone to hyperfixation, but it is nearly impossible to do it on purpose.
oby100@reddit
lol right? Hyper fixation is mostly a curse unless you’re lucky. For every autistic hacker extraordinaire, there’s a thousand obsessed with trains and World War II
_BEER_@reddit
Its some bullshit for real.

If you are fat, you DO NOT jog. You bike or swim, but nothing that is adding stress to your joints.
LooseButtPlug@reddit
Brother was 350 pounds, stopped drinking soda and started jogging, lost 150 pounds.
Don't listen to this person. Be smart, don't over exert yourself, and do what you have to to get moving, even if that's jogging.
Dark_Pestilence@reddit
Nah man, even if you're not overweight jogging sucks for your bones and joints. There are so many better ways to stay fit.
LooseButtPlug@reddit
Fat fingers typed this.

MockeryAndDisdain@reddit
What's funny, this was the original idea behind "healthy at every size".
It wasn't that you're healthy as an obeast hamplanet, it was that no matter how ridiculously fat you are, you can start the journey to become healthy.
PairBroad1763@reddit (OP)
Anon probably doesn't get enough government money to buy a bicycle.
Alien_Explaining@reddit
He doesn’t smart enough
Tripleberst@reddit
I keep telling my mom this but she doesn't listen. I told her that lifting will help her tremendously as well but she won't do it.
MrCattsDad@reddit
Fucked up joints have better long term outcomes than being fat.
Plenty-Set-7258@reddit
Bs. You can jog just fine even as a fatso, just short distances, one hour tops. Run on gravel instead of asphalt or get some running shoes with foam and you’re good to go. Swimming is superior of course
Pm_me_clown_pics3@reddit
I like to workout around overwatch. Before every match I have to do a workout as my "price" to enter. If I can't finish the workout then I go do other stuff. If I won my last match I do 25 reps and lose is 50. I mix it up and do squats, push-ups, situps, I have 5 and 10 pound weights and a yoga ball, it's not much but it gets me off my ass. And I'm not getting better at the game but I am getting better at working out.
VovaViliReddit@reddit
"Can't keep a routine because of autism" uhh...
DecoyOctorok24@reddit
???
PairBroad1763@reddit (OP)
I think that means this fatass couldn't jog more than 100 ft distance without getting heart pain, so he would do sets of them.
Jeffzie@reddit
I mean that's kinda how couch to 5k starts, I think it's like run for 30 seconds, walk for 2 minutes, repeat for 20 minutes or whatever.
It's how I started years and years ago weighing nearly 300lbs, then lost 120lbs over a year. Taking baby steps looks stupid for the first weeks but you get pretty fast improvement, and it's addictive.
DecoyOctorok24@reddit
Better than nothing, but I agree with your assessment that you shouldn’t be experiencing heart pain at only 26 unless you’re severely obese.
KashiFarts@reddit
Yeah 280lb. is fat but heart pain at 26 sounds like 280kg
Meh_Jer@reddit
Anon could be 5’6” or around that height, making them severely obese.
Wtf-Road@reddit
Good on him for changing himself. FPH is the best motivator to lose weight.
Tboom330@reddit
Fph?
Plenty-Set-7258@reddit
Fat people hate
nikoll-toma@reddit
RIP
LooseButtPlug@reddit
Remember when reddit had a whole subreddit dedicated to fat people hate? The good old days.
WilfriedOnion@reddit
Thanks Mod it's now on Facebook where hate speech is not only tolerated but algorithm-encouraged
FrankieFireCock@reddit
I hate when people abbreviate the most random shit like this and expect everyone to know what they’re talking about.
MockeryAndDisdain@reddit
That subreddit helped so many people.
13esq@reddit
I don't know if I'd go as far as FPH, but we absolutely do need to bring back shame and end body positivity bullshit.
philmarcracken@reddit
guilt and shame induction rarely work out long term. they're still trying to point at a person for their titles instead of working against those titles
meaning that the fat person often sets themselves up to fail by identifying their adipose as part of their personality, instead of just stuff attached to their skeleton. When they make it part of 'who they are' instead of what they have, it creates a self fulfilling prophecy
longfoot@reddit
It's not supposed to help the person being shamed.
It's supposed to stop other people from following the same path.
MyDogIsDaBest@reddit
Is he maybe just confusing "heart pain" with a stitch from exertion? Tbh it sounds like this anon is on a good trajectory and I hope it continues well for him.
DappyDee@reddit
Maybe recommending Anon to try DDR games might be a good idea.
Few-Frosting-4213@reddit
Finally, those earthquake drills will come in handy.
ElectricSnowBunny@reddit
Being fat is gross. Whenever I see a fat person exercising I cheer them on mentally because they are actively trying to be less gross.
I like how way back in the day the ruling class tried to pull a "being fat means prosperity" trick on us as if looking like Jabba with a powdered wig was some sort of flex.
Ssyynnxx@reddit
Yea but it was a flex historically to be able to have enough to eat lol; it's pretty recent that that has changed
ElectricSnowBunny@reddit
All those hot model bodies out there is what made the fat fucks angry, fortunately we flipped it on them.
BudgetThat2096@reddit
Getting fit is easy, it's just mind numbingly boring so the hard part is keeping a routine and actually doing it every week
PoisonBleu@reddit
On the bright side: he's not getting drafter to fight for israel.
