Am I retarded or is the person commenting on its size retarded? Poland didn't get smaller, the USSR was split into two other countries and the countries to the West of Poland were absorbed into Germany.
Poland? What Poland? It was Republic of Poland in 1927–1939 or Polish People's Republic in 1947–1989. Different governments, different borders, different state structures... it's like saying "Russia outlived everyone on the picture", because there were several Slavic principalities 11 centuries ago.
Poland is in the best geographic position it's been since the 1600s, it lost the east which was poor and full of ukranians and belarussians anyway and got the west after the germans were displaced leaving behind industry and much better sea access
Funniest part is literally any Pole would be happier if the country was entirely German. Bigger income, better education, more useful language, more job opportunities, less corrupt politicians.
but muh immigrants and safe Poland
Old news. Jobs are outsourced to pajeets or hohols all the time. Crime is on the rise in every major city. Prices are rising. Polish women are horing themselves out on every Erasmus and are only willing to settle down when they’re 40 and you better have a German car by then bucko

Poland did get smaller over the centuries, but it's obviously still the same size as after WW2.

The 123 years without a Poland on a map were the best time in all of history
