Another act of sabotage inside Europe - German military trucks burnt down

Six German military trucks given to Ukraine were burnt down while waiting for repairs in Germany.
Russian Telegram channels are full off joy and claim it was a Russian attack.
Those are not necessarily Russian agents or native Russians at all. Russia uses Telegram to attract one-and-done saboteurs who execute such strikes for money.
No further escalation expected because we already had such acts in the past, but prepper-related one should be prepared for sabotage against the energy infrastructure and water infrastructure (they also tried one time to contaminate water supplies).

this wont result in anything

Maybe a strongly worded letter.

Too true. But it's still a bug maybe.

So tired of the fuckin Russians and their bullshit asymmetric grey zone warfare
At some point Europe is going to have to do something drastic about this. Question is what.
RoundBottomBee@reddit
Honest question, isn't this a valid military target? Like if a country sank an enemy's warship in a neutral harbour?
If not valid, at least semi-legit "ok, we'll allow it this time" kinda deal? Or what makes it, the fact it is still in a neutral country?
AnomalyNexus@reddit
Article doesn't say these are for Ukraine. Just says there in the location for repairs.
The parts of the article that reference Ukraine are quotes from the russian propaganda channels.
Destroying stuff in netural countries because you think it might be sent to your enemy...that sounds on brand for russia frankly.
RoundBottomBee@reddit
The OP post said they were for Ukraine. Was going off that.
AnomalyNexus@reddit
It seems plausible, but yeah not seeing it in the article

The neutral country of Germany against Russia?
Femveratu@reddit
I guess Russia is unhappy w the Taurus missile issue

Hey german here, the investigations in this case leads to leftist groups atm. There were burning military trucks in june last year in Erfurt, march in Berlin and 2 weeks ago in Soltau. They published a letter of confession that they set the trucks on fire(not in the actual case but for these in the past)
Boring-Philosophy-46@reddit
There was another one today in Belgium involving a pro Palestine group apparently.
SmokePeterThiel@reddit
Pro palestinian supporters as usual. Disgusting. Might as well call them pro Hamas and pro terrorism
NCC_1701E@reddit
Might as well call them paid Russian agents. At this point I am on 100% convinced that their command structure ends in Kremlin.
SmokePeterThiel@reddit
Kremlin and Iran.
angelmaker1991@reddit
It wouldn't make sense for them to be Russian; why would Russia want Germany in the war? Ukraine does though
Hinterwaeldler-83@reddit (OP)
So the Russian Telegramm channels are now Ukrainian?

Germans burn it
grimr5@reddit
So… Germany now sends 12 trucks? Little bit of a fuck you and deterrence rolled into one

Thanks for adding that, UkraineWarReport was calling for sending all the Russians back, which I'm convinced is bot accounts as it is of course exactly the sort of racial tension they like to see in Europe. Luckily many pointed out why that was a dumb idea.
I'm going to add even further: a LOT of the currently pending cases where the perp was arrested, were Ukrainian nationals if you've been following European news (not in German, those don't write the nationality). I have not seen a single one involving Russians (I'm not counting the weird murder case with baby theft, that's awful but not terrorism).
The Ukrainians took the "jobs" via telegram and thought, or so they claim, that they were regular ones from organized crime (gee that makes it so much better!). That might be true, or they might be saying that specifically to avoid terrorism charges instead of arson charges. Also the stabbing attack in Amsterdam suspect was a Ukrainian deserter who specifically wanted to go to jail in western Europe so he didn't have to go back to the army. With millions of Ukrainians in Europe, it is obvious that we would import some criminals too.
