Building a new PC and decided on 9800x3d and B650M-E motherboard. Was reading about them a bit and noticed that that 9800x3d has too high power consumption for the board. The board was recommended to me by the shop owner.
Should I choose another board? If so, which one?

You should be fine with it. It’s Asrock boards that had issues with 9800x3d. It’s a top end gaming cpu so yea it’s gonna pull power, but not as much as an intel cpu.

Yeah, I was planning on getting a asrock 850 but then i came upon a post regarding the amd cpus and asrock boards and decided to switch them. Got recommended this board.
So there shouldnt be any power/connection problems between the board and cpu?
