Am I odd for loving our weather here in the UK or do other people love it too?

I absolutely LOVE rain!
I love that misty rain that gets you soaked to the skin in seconds.
I love that great big ploppy rain you get during a thunderstorm.
I love the drip drop rain of a spring shower.
I love the torrential downpours that come on a summers day, seemingly out of knowhere.
Fun fact, torrential rain makes my endorphins sky-rocket, I have been known to absolutely piss myself laughing when I get caught out in a downpour.
I often take my 6 year old for a dance in the rain, in my arms, faces to the heavens, just dancing and laughing and singing until we are soaked to the bone, then we run giggling back inside.
I splash in puddles with or without my kids with me haha
I love the frosty mornings of Autumn and winter, the way the grass crunches underfoot and the spider webs sparkle like they've been touched by the frost fae, all bedazzled with frozen dew diamonds.
I love the snow, the way it makes any day brighter, happier, like putting a duvet on the world, all seems calm and quiet and safe.
I love the springtime where you know you'll need a raincoat, a sun hat and a wool coat all within an hour of each other and the flowers just pop out of knowhere and everywhere all at once.
I love our summers, the bright high sun in the sky heating my neck as I potter in the garden, the slight scorched look of the grass and trees, just begging for the next downpour to parch their thirsty roots.
We truly are so lucky, we dont get super cold, or super hot or any extreme weather, its just... simply... wonderful.
The ONLY weather I dont like is blanket grey.
The way the grey concrete meets the grey sky makes it feel oppressive and sad, like a great depression has fallen on the world with no end in sight. My heart hurts on grey days, like i'll never be happy again (sounds dramatic, but true nonetheless)
However... everyone I talk to is always complaining "Ugh, its too hot", "its too cold", "its too wet", "its too dry"... am I really just an oddball? (Its fine if I am haha im happy dancing in the rain)
Or do other people really genuinely love our weather here too?
SignificanceOld1751@reddit
I'm a massive meteorology geek, so some seriously heavy rain really gets me going.
I just like extremes really.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Do you have any qualifications in it or just a huge interest and passion for meteorological knowledge?
Misher_Masher@reddit
I am like you a lot and you will usually find me up on the moors on a hike during the worst weather, however the difference here is, I am one of those "Ugh, it's too hot" people.
I seem to be extremely sensitive to the hot weather and will sweat absolute buckets without even having to lift a finger sometimes in the late spring/summer months. I'm perfecrly happy with anything below 22 degrees and you won't hear me complain about any type of weather at all, only the temperature.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
You must have Dave's syndrome hahaha (please tell me your old enough (and cool enough) to get that reference? Hahaha
There is your favourite place to hike?
Misher_Masher@reddit
Sorry, I did have to Google that one lol. I am old certainly enough to get it but I never did watch Black Books when it was on TV.
I do have a favourite hike if that's what you mean but anywhere on Dartmoor or Bodmin moor suits me. Love a good coastal hike as well, but I do generally avoid those in the very bad weather as it can get quite dangerously muddy when all that's separating you from the path your on and the cliffs below are your boots.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Have you ever seen it? Its brilliant, in my humble opinion haha
I love walking by the coast, but im also always a little bit scared even in fine weather... so yeah, I totally understand not wanting to treck a coastline in precarious weather haha
MelkorTheCorruptor@reddit
I feel lucky to live in a place with so much green. And that's thanks to our weather
KeysUK@reddit
Riding through countryside roads. Seeing all the green and blue sky is why I love this country
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Same, there are so many different types of green too! Beautiful!
Psychological_Salt93@reddit
I love every season. I would only wish for real snow every winter. I love cold weather more than hot.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Yeah! The last snow we had where i live (where you could build a snowman family and still have a good covering left) and where it was piling up in drifts in the fields and sides of the roads was about 4 years ago! I was great though haha
Psychological_Salt93@reddit
I like to try to get to the Cairngorms to experience real snow once in a while. Unfortunately it's a long drive for us (Liverpool) I don't ski but I make a great snow angel š¤£

No, cos im on two wheels all year

I hate it. It's so hot/humid. I cant do any work because I an sweating so much. It's horrible.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Not any? Oh thats sad. Snow is great! What line of work are you in?
Dnny10bns@reddit
When you start living somewhere where it's sunny and blue skies everyday, weirdly, yes. I did miss it. Except the rain, last year was shit.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Haha yeah last year was great for rain lovers, but everyone else... not so much... our local farmers lost alot of crops to the rain too
Mobile_Turnover6773@reddit
I actually love it too. I lived in Australia for a decade and got so sick of the heat! A Sydney winter is literal perfection to me: a bit cool but bright and sunny, fuck yes.
I will say, I could absolutely do with less months of grey here.
Ground_Better@reddit
i am having a rly hard night at work and this nearly made me cry in the canteen. The little joys man, i cant wait to feel that warm summer rain, or hear the crunchy snow again
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Hey, thanks for commenting, im really sorry to read you were having a tough time at work... did you want to talk about it?
I'll be sat here hoping you get the feeling of warm summer rain, cooling your face soon... like a sunflower reaching up to the sun leaves outstretched like arms trying to capture the suns warm embrace, only to find itself wilting under the heat... the clouds come rolling in... the sunflower hurts, he's dry, sad, tired, he just wants the sun back... his face droops desolate... then... the first warm raindrop falls from the cloud above... drip... another... drop... the rain pours, warm, refreshing, rejuvenating... the sunflower roots spread out and soak up the warm life line that is rain, his face turns skyward again, his leafs outstretch reaching every part of him possible to capture more of the nourishing rain... until he is full and well and happy again... sustained... joyful in his existence... he just needed a cloud on his sunny day... a little darkness to his sun light... balance.
I'll be keeping every finger crossed for your balance to return to you too, a little rain for your face to rejuvenate you and lighten your load, to refresh your heart.
Stay safe out there, you matter.

I am from Turkey. I've been living in the UK since 2009. I absolutely love British weather. I avoid going to Turkey in summer.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Oh thats lovely! Im so pleased you like it here. I cant say ive ever visited Turkey in the summer, but ill take note of it for any future visits that may or may not happen haha
mugehanim@reddit
If you go in May or September, it's lovely. But anytime in between is scorching hot that would ruin any fun. Beautiful country though š
Polz34@reddit
The only UK weather I don't like is when it over 25 degrees, so a small part of the year, I love a bit of fog or rain.
Winter_Ad_9686@reddit
Iām big on the phrase āThereās no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothesā and since Iāve started thinking about it that sense my life has been a lot better (might seem dramatic, I know!) but I go out in the rain in pack-it waterproof trousers and jacket and in the winter layer up more than I think. I also use an app called weather fit and itās helped me plan being outside, which as someone who walks everywhere, itās very useful
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
I also walk everywhere! Thanks for the app share, might give that a download... does it help you work out what clothing would be appropriate for the forecast?
Ive just seen another commenter use that phrase, its wonderful! Very much up my alley!
Where is your favourite place to walk?
Winter_Ad_9686@reddit
It does! It shows the exact amount of layers you should wear, right down the type of footwear, I love it! Some people run hot so always know one layer less but I guess thatās through experimenting with the apps given outfits.
I donāt go on walks as such, but I donāt drive so if I want to go absolutely anywhere itās my only option, I donāt mind though as itās good for the mind and body :)
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
I also dont drive... but I do go on walks alot, I need to... cant stay cooped up too long haha yes, like you said, good for the kind and body!
theflickingnun@reddit
The uk is blessed with a few things and long periods of consistent weather is one of them. However the long periods of grey skies do have profound effects on the mind and dreary rain conditions bring lots of people spiralling down.
I guess it just depends on what you enjoy.
Papertache@reddit
I don't like the rain (Yes, I know these isles are known for it.) I hate how grey everything becomes, the humidity makes the heat hotter and the cold feel colder, dressing for the rain means you're extra hot in the summer. Where there's rain, there's also wind so you're fighting the umbrella, and even with full waterproof gear, you're still turning up at the destination with wet hands and face, and sweating under the gear.
I love the outdoors, so I feel rain just ruins everything. I can dress for it, but it's still miserable. Hiking - everything is now slippery. Camping - amazing feeling looking out of the tent when it's absolutely pissing it down but I dread the packing sodden gear. Dread cooking in the rain too. Walking to work - now you have to decide if you want the faff of changing out of sweaty waterproof gear when you arrive into the office or fighting the umbrella the whole time and just be slightly damp the entire morning. BBQ - holding, an umbrella over the BBQ is not fun.
Favourite weather - Frosty winters with blue skies. The air is crisp and skies are beautiful. Snow - Yes, everything is slippery, grey and slushy, but everything now looks beautiful. Love how muffled everything now sounds. Bright summer days - I live next to a park, and it's great seeing people have fun well into the evening.

Not odd whatsoever.
We like to big up our weather here in the UK, or complain about it, or whatever takes our fancy at the time.
But it's a temperature maritime climate we live in. Exactly the same in Ireland. Some places in South America and even New Zealand and whatnot can have very comparable weather to us sometimes.
I love warm summer rain. Love thunderstorms.
Don't like winter, thank God I wasn't reincarnated as a polar bear because I'd be a bit whack at it, but for what's it worth I do enjoy our climate.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Ive not heard that phrase before: a temperate maritime climate, could you explain what that means before I ask google?
I'd love to visit new Zealand, it looks absolutely beautiful! Have you been?
Warm summer rain is my happy place.
Do you not like anything about winter? Even getting to snuggle up under a duvet and getting all cozy?
kotare78@reddit
I live in NZ. Parts have a similar climate to UK, itās a lot cooler than it ought to be considering the latitude because of the moderating effect of all the water. It is has a lot more climate variation due to the geography and length of the country. Where I live in Hawkeās Bay is Mediterranean like. Up north is sub tropical and down south is very wet on the west of the alps and very dry on the east. The west is one of the wettest places on earth and a few miles away as the crow flies is arrid. Itās a beautiful place.Ā
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
NZ is on my bucket list. Id love to visit one day and you have just cemented that even further. What a wonderful description, thank you.
What is your favourite part of your country?
kotare78@reddit
I really like Northland in summer for the beaches and laid back atmosphere - camping on the beach in place like Matauri Bay, Spirit's Bay, Karikari Peninsula, Tututaka Coast and Bay of Islands are all lovely. The Coromandel is gorgeous too. Waiheke Island close to Auckland is very cool place to visit. Bay of Plenty - Mt Maunganui has a nice holiday vibe to it.
Lake Taupo, Rotorua for all the geothermal sites. Lake Taupo is my usual weekend getaway camping spot, or Lake Waikaremoana.
I think you can't look past the south island though for the epic scenery. If anyone says they can only do one island I always say the south. The Sounds, Nelson Lakes and Abel Tasman national park are beautiful. Fjordland and The West Coatst feels like a lost world and has some of the most breathtaking scenery I've ever witnessed - Earnslaw Burn actually made me a bit emotional. Central Otago is stunning. Area around Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo is pretty magial. Kaikoura has some spectacular geography, the way the mountains meet the ocean.
Where I live is unspectacular by NZ standards but it is very pretty in a rolling hills sort of way, lots of vineyards, great restaurants and Napier has cool art deco buildings which make it unique. Here is the view from the hill I live next to, which is my regular weekend dog walk.
Wibblywobblywalk@reddit
Bloody 'ell, that's gorgeous.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Wow that is absolutely stunning... and that is 'unspectacular' by NZ standards?! See.. this is why I need to visit haha or maybe emigrate, as you listed alot of places that all sound great for their own reasons haha iwomt fot all pf that in on one holiday.
You truly live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and for sharing that photo
kotare78@reddit
No worries! Hope you get over and have a fantastic time. It's a very easy place to travel around once you actually get here. I can't wait to get back over to the UK, I travelled around by campervan and it is a stunning place with rich history, amazing cities and towns and great people. Kia Ora.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Campervans are great for uk travel as well are such a small country, great choice!
Would 'tena koe' be the correct response? (I have no idea how to spell it though sorry, its just something ive heard before)
kotare78@reddit
Yes that's exactly right. A lot of Te Reo is spelled phonetically so it's quite easy to pick up. Say what you see sort of thing.
EmbalmedCoconut@reddit
I'm kind of digressing here but like our friendo here I too have NZ on my bucket list. So in England we're not allowed to just wild camp, there is no universal right to roam/camp except in very specific places, but we do have it in Scotland (you can camp in the countryside as long as you clean up your mess and leave no trace basically which is a very fair system). How is it in NZ? Similar system?
kotare78@reddit
There are lots of places you can wild camp in NZ. There are also lots of holiday parks which are more family oriented and tend to have more facilities, they also get absolutely heaving during holidays. NZ camping is a thing to behold - everything but the kitche sink! Department of Conservation have lots of cheap sites in fantastic locations but tend to be very basic which adds to the charm in my opinion. There's an app called camper mate that has all the sites listed.
EmbalmedCoconut@reddit
It means our weather is partly moderated by the oceanic environment which surrounds us. Like if we were on this latitude but in central Europe we'd get way hotter summers, way colder winters and probably less rain. The ocean and jet stream sort of levels us out a bit so we have warmer winters and more moderate summers.
Been to Asia and Africa including monsoon regions but Oceania is still on the bucket list. I know plenty of Brits who live there now, have spent seasons there or plenty of Aussies/Kiwis who live in the UK now. Haven't quite made it there myself yet š
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Thank you so much for explaining that to me, and so clearly too! I really enjoy learning.
Wow! Id love to visit parts of Asia too. Was it for holiday or work? (Only asking to decipher whether you got to enjoy it or if you were too busy working, not being nosy) Did you ever experience a monsoon?

Vacay. I had an aunt, uncle and three 1st cousins living in Shanghai at the time. Another aunt and uncle in Singapore. The main problem in England is drought.
Dry-Magician1415@reddit

Ive lived abroad in a warm country and I hate it. It needs to be cool for good sleep so I was essentially constantly sleep deprived.Ā
In the UK you can just throw a jumper on if itās too cold. Warm places you have to stay in the one room thatās got AC or just suffer.Ā
raccoonsaff@reddit
Well, I don't LOVE the weather, but I like it! I'm not a huge fan of rain, and I hate ice and snow, and strong winds, but really, the weather is pretty..unextreme? Temperate? And I like not having to deal with extremes!
I also like seasons, and we don't have too many natural disasters compared to many countries, either.

You know it bought these silver lined gloves that are amazing! Have you ever tried them?
MrMikeJJ@reddit
Nope, i gave up on gloves decades ago. My fingers used to turn white inside them, even if i double layered with thinsulate gloves.
Got an amazing parka instead. Works wonders. My hands disappear up the sleves when needed.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Mine turn white outside of them haha its strange how one condition can manifest so differently isnt it.
Im glad the parker is working wonders for you š
MrMikeJJ@reddit
Indeed. When I was younger I used to double layer hats & gloves, wear scarfs and none of it worked.
About 17 years ago I bought this https://www.silvermans.co.uk/products/alpha-n3b-extreme-cold-parka and never really had a problem with my fingers since.Ā Doesn't help my toes though.
Hadn't heard of those gloves before, had a gander & may get some to have in reserve. Cannot hurt to have some lying about.
Another suggestion I got of reddit, which is good. Alpaca wool bed socks. They were a good buy :)

rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
I really like wildflowers! My mum cant stand my garden because its full of 'weeds'... but I disagree... I genuinely think flowers are just flowers and I like flowers... dandelions are amazing! Genuinely amazing! They have both pollen and nectar, you can eat every single part of a dandelion, leaves, roots, stems, flowers... the whole lot, you can make a fux honey out of them too, which is delicious!
I saw my first ever wild orchid a few years ago in one of our local forests, whats your favourite flower?
coffeewalnut08@reddit
Foxgloves, because theyāre so ornamental! But honeysuckle is by far the best fragrance š¤©
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
I really like foxglove, I like watching the bumblebees wiggle their fluffy buts inside haha but I cant have them in my garden unfortunately. My children are autistic and struggle with staying away from poisonous things. Ive had to get rid of all my lords and ladies too as they kept popping the seed pods and ending up in pain š¤¦āāļø
Honeysuckle... wild honeysuckle smells heavenly, what a great choice!
kotare78@reddit
Thereās a recurring theme during these UK weather appreciation threads that compare UK climate to the most extreme climates on earth. There are climates very similar to the UK with four season, no extremes and plenty of sunshine and precipitation but a lot less gloomy and monochrome grey, I like those climates.Ā
imtheorangeycenter@reddit
Curious as to where these are (not doubting you)? I don't think it's very monochrome here though (but I don't live in Manchester...)
kotare78@reddit
I grew up in Manchester!
Examples of nice temperate climates... Pacific North West, Northern California, Northern Italy, Northern Spain and Portugal, Atlantic France, Medellin Colombia, parts of New Zealand's - Nelson and Napier are particularly good. There are loads of places with similar temperate climates to the UK that are a bit sunnier and less gloomy. I do like the climate of the UK though and agree that it is favourable. There's a reason why most of humanity settled in temperate climate zones!
imtheorangeycenter@reddit
Haha, sorry for the obligatory dig!
Yeah, fair enough though I wouldn't classify a lot of them as wildly more colourful though (esp. PNW and NZ, and swathes of NorCalĀ having spent a lot of time in those). Lovely places though, and I've toyed with emergrating to all because it's different but familiar.Ā I wouldnt go to, say, the Windies as nice as it is.

rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Youve not had torrential rain where you live for years? Or thunder?! That's crazy! Im sorry you've missed out in thunderstorms and rain! I love sitting with the french doors open watching the storm while the rain bounces back off the patio ā¤ļø Is it specifically the thunder you like or the lightning too?
ZuckDeBalzac@reddit
I'm only up in Liverpool! Last proper rain we had, I remember walking home from town one weekend and getting absolutely trenched with the kids, playing in the little rivers that you get running down the streets. That was 2 years ago. Sometimes it goes to pour down but it never lasts longer than 3 minutes before slowing down to nothing. Lightning is great, I get excited when the weather app says there'll be a storm but the weather seems so messed up, even the meteorologists don't seem to ever get it right...
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
I hope its ok to say this but the liverpudlian (no idea how you spell it sorry) accent is my absolute favourite!
Wait.... 2 YEARS ago was the last heavy rain you had?! Wow! I think ours was about three days ago!
I think because weather can change so fast it makes the job a little harder? I dont know, but yes, they seem to get it wrong alot haha
Lightning at night is the best, we have had daytime storms the last few weve had and I miss seeing the lightning form across the sky.
We had this phenomenal lightning storm a few years ago here, I had never seen it before ever... we ONLY had lightning and it was almost constant... no thunder just flash after flash of lightning, it was really cool! I dont know if it was just a big storm really far away or what, but no thunder at all!

Seasons - proper seasons, not just wet/dry - are hugely undervalued.Ā
A crisp autumn morning with bright sun but mist and crunchy leaves, a cold dark night in front of a real fire, that first beer garden day of Spring, the glorious yes/oh-god-no of Summer.
Love them all, but by the back end of each I am waiting for the next one.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
I agree completely, but they always seem to change just as im getting antsy haha do you find that?
miggleb@reddit
I like nothing more than getting caught in a heavy downpour on my cycle home.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Yes! Another rain lover!
TheFilthierTheBettR@reddit
The wind is schitt.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Im actually scared of heavy wind haha how silly is that for a grown adult? 𤣠I love light wind and the wind we have had where I live for the last week or so, its refreshing, but heavy wind... hell to the no!
Randa08@reddit
I love that we have distinct seasons. I like spring and autumn. I moan about the heat in summer and the cold in winter.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Spring and autumn also have the benefit of being the most beautiful seasons too, i cant say i blame you for enjoying them the most
ticklemetiffany88@reddit
I moved here from the US south where I "joke" that there are 2 seasons - summer and American football. The weather over here in the UK is an absolute dream! 4 distinct seasons and no hurricanes/tornados/floods/fires/earthquakes. I absolutely love it over here for many reasons, weather being one of them!
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
What a wonderful comment! Im so happy for you that you enjoy living here. I would really struggle with perpetual heat and sun!
martzgregpaul@reddit
Id rather it rain than what we have had this year. Its barely drizzled here since April!
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Do you not like the sun or do you just wish it were a little more balanced? I feel like we had a really wet year last year and now a warmer dryer year
martzgregpaul@reddit
Sun is great but not all the time. A bit of rain now and then freshens everything up.
And removes the bird poo from my windows š
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Haha the many uses of rain haha
TurnoverStreet128@reddit
For sure I love all those weather types you listed but where I live in the southwest, from November to march we get GREY and it's absolutely miserable. Give me a cold and bright winter any day.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Grey is awful... it really is... i genuinely couldn't live somewhere that was grey for months on end. I get really bad depression when its like that for too long.
How do you find it living there?
TurnoverStreet128@reddit
For those months I absolutely loathe it. There's this pall that hangs over the city. Other times of the year it's lovely, but overall I miss the better autumn/winter weather I've had elsewhere in the UK.
I can cope with rain when you get that wonderful smell of petrichor, or it leaves everything feeling bright and fresh. Not when it means you don't see the sun for 1/4 of the year!
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Oh no š that sounds really sad, im sorry. Could you move somewhere that makes you feel a little happier?
Petrichor... I wish you could bottle it... can you imagine? Just open the bottle and smell it when youre in the depths of the gloom haha it'd be marvellous.
CurvePuzzleheaded361@reddit
I love it. I enjoy the seasons and despite the comments i see here sometimes, you can go out and be active in any weather just wear a coat!! Literally seen huge amounts of comments saying they hate winter as they cannot go outside lol! I walk in all weathers and enjoy it.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Yes I walk in all weathers too, as do my children. Its good for the soul ā¤ļø So pleased to see other people enjoy it too!
beavershaw@reddit
I 100% prefer it to Canada. Hate -25c and +35c with 100% humidity is even worse. I'll take the moderate weather here any day of the week.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Yeah that sounds a tad too extreme for me too! Minus 25?!?! That's crazy
pajamakitten@reddit
No such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.
My gripe is more that a lot of our infrastructure seems unable to handle it more and more. So many roads near me seem to flood from the smallest amount of rain these days, whereas they never did a decade ago.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Yes, I live in a river town and we get horrendous flooding, as do all of our neighbouring small towns too, and like you its our roads that flood before the river does!
I wonder if its to do with poor drainage and possibly building on flood planes? Im not educated enough in that field to know if im honest.
I LOVE that sentiment: no bad weather only bad clothing. Im stealing that if you dont mind, what a wonderful outlook
lilymtyson@reddit
I like the rain when when I'm inside, or having a romantic day off to myself watching black and white movies (yeah, I'm sad like that) - just not when I'm travelling for work in it. LOVE autumn, cosy jumpers, boots, crunchy leaves - delish!
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
I love this for you... (it's not sad!) It makes me happy reading these little 'confessions'... there is nothing wrong with enjoying a black and white film with the soundtrack of rain... it sounds wonderful.
Autumn is my favourite season, without a doubt... no contest for me.
I live in a tiny country town (really tiny) surrounded by greenery and rivers and forests, walking here in the autumn is beautiful, like a rainbow has fallen from the sky... and the CRUNCH!!! You cant beat the crispy leaf crunch... not even virgin snow is as satisfying as the crunch of a bunch of leaves underfoot!
lilymtyson@reddit
Your last paragraph was a poem to my soul! š
Chuck a decently scented pine candle into a perfect autumn day and youāre living the dream. Canāt beat our weather in my opinion.
urbanworm@reddit
God no. Iāve had a life long obsession with the weather, itās so unpredictable, and this morning I went out in shorts a hoodie and coat, got soaked and came back sweating - all in the space of 20 mins - awesome!
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
Im sorry, your comment made me laugh out loud haha that was me two days ago! But it was more like an hours difference here, ended up in shorts and a strap top with sunburn by tye end of the day! š
Interstellar-Metroid@reddit
No, if it wasn't for our weather, we wouldn't have our lush green land. I hate hot places with no green.
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
I love all of the different colours of natural green we have here, it really is beautiful
ghexplorer@reddit
Are you Scottish?
rain_fall_rose@reddit (OP)
I am not, why?
