I really don't see the problem with this. Why would we want to admit people that hate the US?

Imaginary_Poetry_233@reddit
They have freedom of speech, but not freedom from consequences, as you lefties like to say.
mindsetoniverdrive@reddit
I just want you to know you’re stupid. You probably think you’re quite smart, but I assure you you’re not. In the past, people like you would listen to people smarter than them, but here we are.
Free speech means the government can’t punish you for your speech.
Now pretend I’m speaking really loud and slowly for you to understand:
• You say things people and private businesses don’t like, and you do not have freedom from consequences. Like I expect dumb assholes like you to report this to the mods who get pressed if you mention we live in the rebirth of fascism, and I will suffer the consequence of being banned from this sub. Because it is not the government.
• When the government says “YOU SHOULD BE ARRESTED FOR HURTNG MY BURNT ORANGE FEE-FEES!” see, that is called ✨fascism✨
I hope you get the repercussions of every single thing you voted for.
Mars_target@reddit
I enjoyed reading this. Upvotes sir, before my post gets removed by a bored mod with a power trip for being "unhelpful" or "low effort".

Aka “I’m wrong but won’t admit it so time for some insults or non sequiturs”
DeathByDumbbell@reddit
"Consequences" refers to social or professional consequences, not from the government.
corpusapostata@reddit
Of course you don't understand the problem with the government muzzling free speech.
Frequent_Can117@reddit
There is a difference between hating and criticizing a country. Say you don’t agree with a recent action they took, but overall like the country, that’s one thing. Outright hate, completely different. Not being able to handle simple criticism is weakness.
-rwsr-xr-x@reddit
77 million voting Americans representing 31% of registered voters, confirmed that they hate the U.S., by their actions since that time.
Where should we send them "back to", if they hate the U.S. so much?
Secret_Squire1@reddit
Because the government that’s elected doesn’t not equal the US. Our country was built on the principle that ordinary people can criticize the government. We make a huge deal out of it.
Imaginary_Poetry_233@reddit
See my comment above.

But Brawndo has what plants crave! It's got electrolytes!
...Okay - what are electrolytes? Do you know?’
Yeah. It's what they use to make Brawndo.
But why do they use them in Brawndo? What do they do?'
They're part of what plants crave.
But why do plants crave them?
Because plants crave Brawndo, and Brawndo has electrolytes
mindsetoniverdrive@reddit
It’s absolutely Dunning-Krueger approved!
Chillingwithout@reddit
Hatred of Trump is the opposite of hating the USA.
sole_food_kitchen@reddit
Why are so many Americans so cucked
chonpwarata@reddit
Can’t you just say you don’t have accounts or delete your accounts? How would they know if you don’t present the information. I’m interested to know as society descends into madness.

Apparently they will hold you until you give them the password to your phone.... in the "land of the free"

Because it's about having another club to hit people with, I've had this at my company a few times, and so are friends on Facebook. They post something a bit too... "meta," let's say. Makes the work friend uncomfortable, they say something, someone says, "You should go to HR, anytime you are uncomfortable at work is cause for someone to get fired and shot" - then they do, and the person who posted on FB gets in trouble.
We also have a no dating at work policy because a few people shared intimate details of co-workers they were dating with fellow employees. Not a great time. Though I did get to see 2 people's nudes, I work with. One guy was definitely worthy.... like that guy should never be in trouble for showing that off, cause if I had that, I'd definitely want to show it off too.

Well every time I come to this God forsaken site I am given a stark reminder of where I am 😂

I think most of the internet is God Forsaken - but glad for the remainder

Palantir. They will run your name through their data base, check any emails linked to you and to social media accounts, then if they find one account, they will get the IP that logged there and correlate to other accounts accessed from that address.
Also if you use gmail, thays basically NSA data collection, so they will have everything from there first hand.

When I say to my American colleagues that I spent part of last year living in Beijing, they react as if I went to North Korea. Funny thing is, the US is a lot worse in terms of violating peoples privacy, censorship and corruption. I would never feel safe in the US.
MakeTheRightChoice_@reddit
You’re saying USA is worse and more dangerous than china ?
julmonn@reddit
I mean 2 of my South American co workers have been detained and cavity searched in US airports recently, alongside checking their social media. Never have anything like that happen in China. Then when it comes to danger I believe in east asia you’re a lot safer from psychopaths on the street, and they don’t have ICE going around.
MakeTheRightChoice_@reddit
You’ve never heard of anything like that happening in china? Dude you can’t even talk shit about the Chinese government . You get disappeared just like Russia
At least in the us you can’t somewhat still openly talk about the government
julmonn@reddit
I lived in China.
MakeTheRightChoice_@reddit
Did you speak badly of the Chinese government
ducationalfall@reddit
Government waste in action. You know they would hire more agents to process these new requirements.
TransportationFree32@reddit
Like when they say that fentynal is coming from Canada….border security that bad?!
QHCprints@reddit
Waste is the least problematic aspect of this.
AnomalyNexus@reddit
Can't picture living in US under visa in this climate. And that's coming from someone that has spent 10+ years in different countries under less than permanent entitlements
LazySleepyPanda@reddit
Aren't you supposed to be the "land of the free" ? Or is that freedom only applicable to republicans to spew their shit ?
mediocre_remnants@reddit
The funny thing about this is that I've always avoided traveling to countries where you can get in trouble for criticizing the government. I've refused trips that my company tried to send me on if I disagreed with the laws of that country or if it would somehow put me at risk.
But... I live in this one.
Ricky_Ventura@reddit
Careful. Mods will remove your comment and threaten to ban you for "unhelpful" comments now. I missed the rules update announcement so spread the word.
Rockin_freakapotamus@reddit
I feel like prepping for life under an authoritarian government is directly on message for this sub.
mindsetoniverdrive@reddit
Well, you’d be right, but in opposition to the mod(s) here and some very vocal commenters so far up Trump’s ass you’d need a colonoscopy to get even a glimpse.
(Yes, I know this will be nuked.)
coladoir@reddit
The unfortunate reality of the prepper scene is that its inundated by right-libertarians who are just braindead conspiracy nuts who gobble the boot of whichever republican is in charge and says theyre "for liberty and capital".
Rockin_freakapotamus@reddit
Any mod who removes a post or bans for a comment regarding prepping for America’s first fascist government doesn’t understand the basic concepts of prepping.
SkydronesMetal@reddit
Actually the mods for this sub are pretty good. I dm'd them for something in the past... I can't remember it might have been another account. But they were super cool and friendly
QHCprints@reddit
Oof…
Playful_Possible_379@reddit
And then ban you. Lol cuz you know. They have to kiss the bear's paws.
Alive_Education_3785@reddit
Did any of the Mods change?
PapayaMysterious6393@reddit
I can't imagine this will stay with just visa's either. Not that that is acceptable, mind you.
