Trũcking company recruiters/owners, how much are you willing to train an experienced driver that wants to re-learn a skill he has not been given the opportunity to perfect?

A potential new hire applies for a job at your company, coming to you with 9 years of driving experience only in automatic trùcks.
The driver is immediately upfront with you in that he passed his CDL test with a manual transmission, (no automatic restriction), but has never been given the opportunity to drive a manual trúck since completing CDL school.
The driver wants to relearn how to drive manual transmission and is more than willing to put in the time and effort it takes to do so…
Would you be willing to put in the time and effort it takes to teach the driver, and help him gain the experience and practice needed to perfect that skill?
