Noticed it on the bullet firing episode and I’m genuinely curious. Chat gpt has been useless… all i know is it’s made by Sony and it’s got a 4 inch screen.

oh wow, thats cool as hell. i never dealt with mini dv .. my childhood my parents had a larger heavier machine that accepted VHS tapes, it was much easier cause tapes were easier to buy... after that we just had a gap before digital became the thing

MiniDV was more for the pros than consumers. It was very common in TV production at that time, especially for footage filmed off-site. I used them pretty much daily between HS and college when I was involved in studying TV/video production.
