I just learned that there was apparently a Webster-TNG crossover episode (of Webster, not TNG). Does anyone have more info (or a link)?

When Ben Vereen showed up, I thought we were going to have a Roots reunion with him and LeVar Burton. (Although if I recall correctly, they weren't in Roots at the same time, as LeVar played a young Kunta Kinte and Chicken George was from a later time period.)

But yeah, the staple of 70s and 80s budget-saving television, the clips episode.

Omg, is this one of those sitcoms with a kid star that later ended up overdosing under a bridge somewhere? Or did this kid get out of this okay?

Whoa. This is the final episode of Webster

Webster's sixth season was announced to be its last, with the finale airing on March 10, 1989. Instead of a typical series finale, the last episode—titled "Webtrek"—saw Webster go on an adventure aboard the Starship Enterprise from the series' Paramount-produced sibling, Star Trek: The Next Generation. There, he interacts with Lt. Worf (Michael Dorn) from TNG, whom Webster attempts to humanize, while a series of Webster flashbacks are shown that depict the concept of feelings.

I was laughing at the thought we used to get 22 episodes over six seasons out of a premise as flimsy as "wisecracking black kid lives with white family," but then I remembered we have web series for things like people reviewing supermarket oatmeal for six "webisodes."
