I just learned that there was apparently a Webster-TNG crossover episode (of Webster, not TNG). Does anyone have more info (or a link)?

Did they use star Trek to have a clip episode??

How depressing.
When Ben Vereen showed up, I thought we were going to have a Roots reunion with him and LeVar Burton. (Although if I recall correctly, they weren't in Roots at the same time, as LeVar played a young Kunta Kinte and Chicken George was from a later time period.)
But yeah, the staple of 70s and 80s budget-saving television, the clips episode.

Omg, is this one of those sitcoms with a kid star that later ended up overdosing under a bridge somewhere? Or did this kid get out of this okay?
That's the first thought going through my head, whenever I see a snippet of such shows these days.

Emmanuel Lewis is still alive.

Seems to have had about as normal a life as such a big child star can, too.

Yes, I remember it. The book that week was The Bionic Bunny Show.

Is this the episode where Worf kills a kid during soccer? Poor Webster never saw it coming
shadho@reddit
it was a dumb finale because they prematurely canceled the show

Wow… I only watched a little of Webster as a kid… they got six seasons out of that show?

I was laughing at the thought we used to get 22 episodes over six seasons out of a premise as flimsy as "wisecracking black kid lives with white family," but then I remembered we have web series for things like people reviewing supermarket oatmeal for six "webisodes."

Wow how did Major Grin ever miss including bits from this in his TNG recuts?

I used to watch Webster as a kid. I’m going to have to watch this episode. I don’t remember it, but I’ll sit through it for the hell of it. Thanks for bringing the episode up!

It was called Webtrek: Webster - S06E25. You can find it easily on youtube.
