There has been significant proof that whales have telepathic mirror neuron creatures, meaning they can talk to people if they are close enough.

Are you sure they said talk to people? I think that's a bit of a stretch. Mirror neurons allow for interpretation of social cues and emotion, much like how you can tell if your dog, cat, or infant is happy or upset without talking
