All Time Favorite Frozen Pizza??

Best Frozen Pizza?
I know this has been asked, but we have had a number of new brands and variations come out since the last discussion
OhThrowed@reddit
Ok, I know Totino's is objectively bad. I know it's the cheapest out there.
I still have nostalgic fondness for it.
red_tuna@reddit
I love Totino's for its humility.
Most other frozen pizzas I've had tasted like a below average pizza.
Totino's pizza doesn't even taste like a pizza, it tastes like an above average tv dinner.
topazco@reddit
The key is to add toppings and oregano and cook it directly on the oven grate. Fits perfectly into a toaster oven. And for the finale, cut it into 4 triangles that resemble pizza slices.
osteologation@reddit
better to zap in microwave roll it up and eat it like a giant hot pocket.
SWAGGIN_OUT_420@reddit
Fuck yeah lmao. Glad to see other people doing it and i'm just not looking like a weirdo lol. Totinos are great because its one of the only frozen pizzas small enough to fit in a microwave, big enough to be an actual meal (celeste aint got shit on it, celeste are also dog ass), and actually heats up well enough in a short enough time without needing an oven. I try not to have as much frozen stuff anymore, but every now and then it hits the spot in a weird nostalgic way.
ashleton@reddit
Ha, that's how I used to eat them. Everyone called me crazy, but it was so good. It made the pizza more chewy.
I can't even look at a totino's pizza without getting indigestion and heartburn these days, but when I was a kid I loved them.
osteologation@reddit
I still get them once or twice a year for nostalgia
KikiCorwin@reddit
I do garlic salt on the cooking spray on the foil under the crust. Sprinkle more on top. Drizzle liberally with balsamic glaze when it's done. [18 minutes at 425F in the toaster oven, then 5 minutes on 375F with it set to Air Fryer to toast the top.]
JLR-@reddit
And after all that it's only slightly better.
Lycaeides13@reddit
Totinos makes pizza, not just pizza rolls???
Deep-Interest9947@reddit
Party Pizzas!
Playful_Fan4035@reddit
I like a Totinos, especially when it is cooked in a toaster oven so it gets nice and crispy on the bottom. I mean, it’s definitely no gourmet meal, but for the price and ease, it not bad, especially if you don’t really think of it as a pizza but just some cheesy crispy fast food.
Temporary_Nail_6468@reddit
And it’s not even real cheese. 😂
It is what it is and sometimes I just want one. 😁
Temporary_Nail_6468@reddit
Came here to say this. They asked for my favorite. Didn’t say anything about being the best. 😂
DustOne7437@reddit
They were much better when they were round.
tcrhs@reddit
I lived off Totino’s when I was a broke college student. I still occasionally eat one. But, I add lots of extra mozzerella cheese on it to make it better.
Unusual_Memory3133@reddit
Totino’s exist to add toppings to. Love getting one and then loading it up and making it deluxe
Shoddy-Secretary-712@reddit
My nostalgia made me get one a month or two ago. I enjoyed it, but it didn't really taste like pizza.
BadgerTor@reddit
Which is funny because it was the first
Stedlieye@reddit
Torino’s Mexican Pizza. Objectively terrible as a pizza, but it is FANTASTIC.
Dalton387@reddit
Yep. Cheap, crappy, school pizza. I think Max Miller did an episode on how to make it, based on a manual for school cafeteria workers.
Sunflowers9121@reddit
I have nostalgic fondness for Ellio’s pizza. I hadn’t tried it in probably 40+ years. It brings back good memories.
semisubterranean@reddit
I've always thought of Torino's as a wonderful canvas to express yourself on.
False_Ad_555@reddit
I loved Totino's Mexican pizza
DerthOFdata@reddit
When they changed the packaging they also changed the recipe. I have done the math I ate thousands of them in my lifetime. I could tell something was different. Now they just taste like disappointment. I went from eating at least one a week (sometimes one a day tbh) to not eating any for years. Shame on you Totino's.
michaelincognito@reddit
Same here. They got me through some lean times in college 20+ years ago, and they’re still my go-to frozen pizza option.
Stock-Cell1556@reddit
I love the bubbles in the crust. You used to be able to get these for a dollar and I ate way more than my share.
trulymadlybigly@reddit
Yes the crust is so good!!
afternoondlight@reddit
Yea I like the crust on there a lot. I just add my own Italian sausage and extra mozz and it is one of my favorite cheap meals.
Stock-Cell1556@reddit
They are a little skimpy on the toppings. Italian sausage sounds like a great addition!
Hubba_Hubba08@reddit
I lived overseas for a 1.5 years and I was homesick for some totinos pepperoni pizza
Resident_Bitch@reddit
Crappy or not, they're delicious!
taleasoldastime96@reddit
That was literally my dinner tonight
WalkingTarget@reddit
My college dorm cafeteria had these, a can of soda, and a mini candy of some sort (candy bar, bag of M&Ms, etc.) as a “meal” late on Friday and Saturday nights. People would use up left over meal credits to stock up on the sodas.
It was years before I figured out what brand they were and, yeah, the nostalgia is strong.
Tombstone is the nostalgia from my childhood, though.
osteologation@reddit
"what would you like on your tombstone?"
botulizard@reddit
Peperony and chease
redditsuckspokey1@reddit
explodes everywhere after 10 seconds in microwave
Loris-Paced-Chaos@reddit
They taste like blood but honestly I'm okay with that, even though they're square now.
december151791@reddit
The best way to eat them is to add your own toppings to the cheese one. Personally I love them with crab meat and cheddar cheese.
TheNinjaDC@reddit
It's the taco bell if frozen pizza. It knows what it is, and owns it.
I honestly prefer frozen pizza not pretending to be not frozen pizza. Digiorno I've always hated as I absolutely know it wasn't delivery. It doesn't taste like traditional frozen pizza, but it doesn't taste like real pizza. It's some sort of bastard in-between.
If I'm in the mood for frozen pizza, I can enjoy frozen pizza. And delivery I'm almost always in the mood for. Digiorno I never want.
Keitt58@reddit
I remember over blowing my budget in an extreme manner early in my adulthood and only ate anything for the next month because Safeway had Totino's 10 for $10 dollars.
osteologation@reddit
i still like to microwave them sprinkle a little garlic salt on it then roll them up and dunk in zesty italian or ranch dressing.
SophisticPenguin@reddit
I'll raise you Celeste Pizza, quick Google search, ~$2 vs ~$1
Colodanman357@reddit
Torino’s cooked in a cast iron Dutch oven on a camp fire while drinking, I mean camping.
mads_61@reddit
To me it’s not pizza but it’s its own tasty category lol I also like it.
Aggressive-Union1714@reddit
there is sometime nasty good about Totino's it does help to add cheese to it. dang i love them in a bad way lol
FaithlessnessOdd6738@reddit
I wish I had more up votes for you
Aggressive-Union1714@reddit
lol thank you
Adorable_Dust3799@reddit
Sometimes life calls for cheap crappy pizza. There's a little market not far from me that makes a cheap crappy pizza with an absolutely perfectly crust that we get about every 6 weeks when the craving hits. They only have 1 size and 1 crust and they have the timing and temp down pat.
iforgotmycoat@reddit
Every once in a while I throw one into my toaster oven for nostalgic reasons
2aboveaverage@reddit
Teenage me would eat a $1 Totinos whenever I needed a big snack!
UnarmedSnail@reddit
I add small diced onion and med cheddar + parm to mine.
Cook on a pizza pan in a convection oven.
JunkMale975@reddit
Came here to say this thinking I’d be downvoted to heck. Glad to know I’m not alone!
Remarkable_Table_279@reddit
I grew up on Mr P’s pepperoni…tried it a year or so again…not the same
Remarkable_Table_279@reddit
I actually just freeze pizza I get from dominoes or wherever so that’s my favorite frozen pizza. Dominoes thin crust because it freezes really well
TheCarzilla@reddit
No frozen pizza.
Eureecka@reddit
Stouffers French bread pizza. The garlic and 5 cheese. Yum!
DustOne7437@reddit
For cheap, it’s Tony’s pepperoni with added toppings. If we’ve got more in the budget, it’s Screamin’ Sicilian with added toppings. Both baked on the rack.
elonmusktheturd22@reddit
Almost never had them. Last time was about 5 years ago. Went to a truck stop that did pizzas. Ordered Hawaiian and they refused. Usually had to buy a can of pineapple seperate off the convince rack but they changed the policy that only official menu items could be made (all from scratch) no additions or substitutes. Buy their choice or get lost (only pizza place in 20 miles, despite hsving toppings for subs etc they only allowed cheese, pepperoni, or meat lovers to be made). Was some new policy bs the new karen manager decided to push and they lost like 70% of their pizza sales.
Anyway i went down the road to the dollar general, got a crappy digorno pepperoni pizza and a can of pineapple then went home and made a crappy Hawaiian myself.
My neighbors daughter worked at the truck stop (rode to it with neighbor) and thats hiw i know about the sales losses, i sent the neighbor a picture of my homemade pizza, who sent it to the daughter, who gave to her boss with a message that they could have had that sale and i was more than willing to pay extra per topping but i wont do business with them ever again (and i have not. Fortunately a competing truck stop opened next to them with much better pizza)
pacifistpotatoes@reddit
Butch's White Pizza. Can only find in central IL, and maybe few places outside of that. Locally made, best frozen pizza you can buy!
danhm@reddit
I like the relatively new Motor City Pizza Co. frozen Detroit style pizza, always comes out great.
mmbg78@reddit
Very good pizza!
eyetracker@reddit
This guy Costcos
Patient_Bug_8275@reddit
Walmart has it for the same price too
anypositivechange@reddit
Yeah but you pay when you’re stuck behind someone beating their screaming kid . . . Infinitely cheaper at Costco.
Lord_Voltan@reddit
I mean thats not too far off from costco though. Its usually just a larger (or multiple generations) families with multiple carts blocking the aisles and going as slow as they can while they take swats at the kids orbiting the carts like the moons of Saturn.
IthurielSpear@reddit
Omg you just described my local Costco to a tee. Why do they have to bring the entire family?
SnarkyFool@reddit
I pick up one of these during every Costco run.
Wildcat_twister12@reddit
Target near me just started selling them as well
Djxgam1ng@reddit (OP)
What variation is your favorite?
Bright_Ices@reddit
Not the same person, but I like their pepperoni and supreme ones best. The cheese bread is just okay.
Djxgam1ng@reddit (OP)
If you don’t mind me asking, what part of the country you in? I was just talking to someone about the HEB brand, and they are in Texas (not sure if only there) and I wanted to check it out, but I am in Central Florida
Bright_Ices@reddit
I’m in the mountain west and they sell Motor City pizza at Costco here (and maybe there)! I’ve also seen it at one of the regular grocery stores here, too. The Kroger subsidiary doesn’t carry it, but maybe it was at Macey’s.
Peace1sFreeDom@reddit
Yes HEB is only Texas. As a texan, I LOVE HEB !!
throwfar9@reddit
We discovered these about six months ago. A staple now.
Unique_Ad_3312@reddit
Yes this is the best!
davidwb45133@reddit
I discovered these in January at Kroger and the pepperoni version is now a staple on Sunday night.
GuitarEvening8674@reddit
They are different, but Mid..
nosidrah@reddit
I had three of these in my garage freezer when it lost power. Of everything I had to toss that hurt the most. Making a Costco run tomorrow.
osteologation@reddit
a local detroit area chain buddys is selling theirs frozen. hard to find even here in mid michigan but its next level for frozen. very pricey though. like $15 when i can find it.
chrisv267@reddit
Great shout, these are top tier
TheMainEffort@reddit
It’s horribly calorie dense and makes my stomach hurt for a while.
11/10
Peace1sFreeDom@reddit
Love this one
ALoungerAtTheClubs@reddit
Motor City is my favorite, along with the Whole Foods 365 brand Pizzas. (The latter is a surprisingly good deal - about 5 bucks IIRC - from otherwise pricy Whole Foods.)
Telstar2525@reddit
Reggios, but can’t it near me now.
Despicable_Mina@reddit
Imo’s. St. Louis style (thin crust)🤌🏾
uncomfortable_heat@reddit
Milton's Cauliflower Crust Pizza.
Lost-Ad-7961@reddit
Elios
Djxgam1ng@reddit (OP)
I bought there supreme pizzas and girlfriend came over and took them lol….so thinning about getting them again…do you recommended supreme, pepperoni or cheese?
Lost-Ad-7961@reddit
I like the plain cheese… cook till crispy .. actually a little burnt.. right before eating I add a slice of provolone cheese!!
Background_Humor5838@reddit
None
Few-Independence3787@reddit
I don't eat it much anymore but DiGiornos was my favorite.
Admirable-Status-290@reddit
Dr. Oetker pulled pork
buzznumbnuts@reddit
Tree Tavern. It’s not the best tasting, but it brings back good memories
ITrCool@reddit
California Pizza Kitchen and Bellatoria as a close second.
Plane-Tie6392@reddit
I just miss the Thai Chicken pizza CPK used to make.
r2k398@reddit
Rao’s pepperoni is pretty good.
Plane-Tie6392@reddit
I like that they have instructions for cooking them in a pizza oven.
Djxgam1ng@reddit (OP)
I been on the fence about getting them….i see them all the time in the store. Do they have different crusts or just regular?
nothingbuthobbies@reddit
I love Rao's jar sauces and everyone knows they're known for their high quality, but I honestly wasn't impressed with their frozen pizza. It was just... fine. Not worth the price, IMO.
r2k398@reddit
I’ve only seen the regular one. It’s nice and crisp.
CampbellsBeefBroth@reddit
It'd be my fav if it wasn't so expensive
Otherwise-OhWell@reddit
Rao's Supreme with Pepperoni is my #1.
Home Run Inn is a close 2nd.
DenverZeppo@reddit
Any frozen pizza becomes better with the right equipment. My GF and I cook a couple of Jack's Frozen Pizzas every Sunday, but on a pizza stone, and they went from edible to delicious by just using the proper equipment.
boogiedownbronxite@reddit
Best one is Red Baron Pizza. Enjoy it with some Sprecher fire brewed root beer and you're all set
allothernamestaken@reddit
Home Run Inn
smurfe@reddit
I have simple tastes. Tombstone has never let me down if I had to eat a frozen pizza.
Internal_Research_72@reddit
All time? Digiorno had a deep dish pizza in the late 90s that came in an aluminum pie pan with an aluminum lid that had a hole in the center (to help with browning the edges, I guess). I choose that one.
Spiritual_Being5845@reddit
Tree Tavern Frozen Pizza
It might be local to my area though.
DesignerCorner3322@reddit
Hm. I can't say I've eaten enough frozen pizza to have a favorite. I used to eat Celeste ones as a kid but those were not great.
fookinavocado@reddit
Not traditional at all but the Trader Joe's roasted garlic and pesto pizza.
KingSolomonsFrog@reddit
YES! This has *the* best crust of any frozen pizza.
EmploymentEmpty5871@reddit
I am still a Tombstone pizza guy.
Streamjumper@reddit
Any halfway decent frozen pizza cooked in a pellet grill. The wood taste plus the convection cooking kick it up a few notches. Even the Aldis 3 buck frozen puck and wallyworld bargain pizzas get good in there.
They'll come out fine on an offset smoker too, but I don't think anyone wants to go through the effort to fire up one of those just for some frozen pie.
Theironyuppie1@reddit
Oetkers although it’s German which not something I thought I’d ever say. In general frozen pizza is horrific.
No_Success_6175@reddit
Local Walmart used to have a digiorno deep dish pizza that was so damn good
Ok_Helicopter2305@reddit
The giant one you get from Costco
CowboysFTWs@reddit

schmelk1000@reddit

Ok_Juggernaut_Chill@reddit
The bettergoods wood fire pizzas are surprisingly good. My current favorite.
Mental-Paramedic9790@reddit
Costco.
EcstasyCalculus@reddit
My vote goes to Screamin Sicilian
hopopo@reddit
I have never knowingly try frozen Pizza. Nor did I ever try most Chain Pizza Franchises.
I will never understand why people in the states like NY, NJ, PA, CT even consider buying store or franchise pizza when there there is at least one good local pizza shop available every few blocks no matter what direction you go.
Thereelgerg@reddit
What a stupid and untrue thing to say.
hopopo@reddit
What is untrue about it?
Thereelgerg@reddit
That everyone in those states has "at least one good local pizza shop available every few blocks no matter what direction you go."
hopopo@reddit
That is like saying there is a Deli on every street corner in NYC, or everyone in Texas owns guns, or everyone in Wisconsin likes/eats cheese.
Get it?
Thereelgerg@reddit
Yeah, untrue. I get that it's untrue.
hopopo@reddit
lol... this one is special kind of special.
Thereelgerg@reddit
Why is it so hard for you to admit that you're wrong?
hopopo@reddit
Why is it so hard to admit you are special?
Thereelgerg@reddit
My man, what you said is simply untrue.
hopopo@reddit
My man, you are special.
Thereelgerg@reddit

hopopo@reddit
Everyone except you gets what I was trying to say.
Thereelgerg@reddit
I get what you were trying to say. What you were trying to say is untrue.
Thereelgerg@reddit
Why is it so hard for you to admit that you're wrong?
BreitbartGarfunkel@reddit
I would recommend trying some frozen pizza. It’s a different experience. Get a box of Elio’s, break up a slab, heat that bad Larry up in the oven, and then enjoy some straight comfort food.
hopopo@reddit
In less than 10 mile radius from my house, I have at least two pizza shops that have been open for over 90 years and owned by same families, and one that Italians named one of the best pizzas in the world. In addition to many other local favorites.
All of them are different styles, made fresh and available at any time.
Eating some Ultra-processed frozen garbage is simply not an option.
OldStyleThor@reddit
Are they open at 4am?
hopopo@reddit
Sure, some of them are open 24/7. Especially in more urban areas or bakeries that also offer pizza.
OldStyleThor@reddit
Tis a magical land with 24 hour pizza/bakeries on every corner.
BreitbartGarfunkel@reddit
I respect your opinion, I just think you’re missing out.
butt_honcho@reddit
What a funny way to misspell "I have nothing to contribute to this discussion."
Budgiejen@reddit
Milton’s cauliflower crust pizza.
Carrotcake1988@reddit
I know I’m going to spell it wrong. But, Oatker?
I prefer to buy the fresh HEB pizza or flat bread.
BullsOnParadeFloats@reddit
Dr Oetker?
Carrotcake1988@reddit
Yeah. That’s the one.
DropTopEWop@reddit
Red Baron

Motor City Pizza Co from Costco. Thick crust, crispy on the edges, tons of pepperoni, just overall great
JayinNPBch@reddit
Motor city pizza , available at costco , is the best frozen pizza I've ever eaten
Far_Winner5508@reddit
Mama Rosa frozen pizzas They were 2x 12” pizzas for $8. Really cheap pizzas but the sauce flavor was addictive.
Went out of business during the lockdown.
Current fave are Kirkland cauliflower crust supreme pizzas. Can never eat just part of one.
tcrhs@reddit
I like Tombstone pepperoni the best.
eruciform@reddit
Stouffers French bread pizza
Ellios is evil ketchup on sad cardboard but it reminds me of elementary school food so I have it every once in a while just on a nostalgic lark
tcrhs@reddit
That’s my favorite.
DeliciousBeanWater@reddit
Stouffers 100%, Red baron french bread coming in second
Lycaeides13@reddit
I low-key miss school pizza
Krillin@reddit
Someone found the old recipe for school pizza and posted it in the past couple of months. My family owned a few pizzerias growing up and I still loved the school pizza on Fridays for lunch.
Lycaeides13@reddit
Which subreddit?!
Hatweed@reddit
Better than a subreddit post. The Youtuber Max Miller made it for his series Tasting History and he says it’s identical to what he remembers.
He has a link to the recipe in the description.
StumblinThroughLife@reddit
I love these in the sense that I don’t need to buy a whole pizza for 1 person if I want pizza. Hits the spot
eruciform@reddit
i just ordered a whole 12" pie for myself

Commodity pizza with Aldi coming in a close second.
If you've ever had the 4x6 rectangle pizza from school, you've had commodity pizza.
You, as an adult, can buy it by the case.
You need a deep freeze. It's literally a box of pizza.
https://www.schwansfoodservice.com/product-list/?products=sheeted-pizza&brands=tonys
These fit on half sheet trays, they're reheat fully cooked pizza. Thing is, you don't have to keep them the way they're served to students. Dress it up. Throw some basil and red pepper on it. Hit it with some shredded gruyere.
Because it's already made perforated pizza, you can break them apart into gallon ziploc bags and heat up 1 or 2 at a time, so you don't have to eat more than 1 slice and they otherwise just live in your freezer.
96 slices of pizza for about 100 bucks is honestly a good deal and if you have a lot of mouths to feed or you just really like rectangle pizza, it works.
maple-belle@reddit
I am still mourning the California Pizza Kitchen Uncured Pepperoni. I think it still exists but it hasn't been at Walmart or Kroger in my area since 2020. The other varieties have been! But not that one. I think I found it at Target once but that dried up too.
I've had a lot of good ones from Aldi though.
Cacophonous_Silence@reddit
That uncured pepperoni definitely still exists
Stores are weird about which they keep in stock though
maple-belle@reddit
Stores are so weird. The only place in this city where I can get the CPK Roasted Garlic Chicken is at Target, despite other stores having CPK in general. Walmart has plenty of Marie Calendar's meals but my favorite is only at Kroger.
UPDATE TARGET DOES STILL HAVE THE PEPPERONI.
Tricky_Ad_1870@reddit

Home Run Inn, no contest
misteternal@reddit
I don’t care for frozen pizza other than Totinos. Like it’s no pretending and I add extra cheese, maybe some garlic, and it is a fantastic cheap meal.
Djxgam1ng@reddit (OP)
I’m gonna try that…when you add Garlic, do you shake it from A shaker or you talking fresh garlic? Before or after cooking the pizza?
misteternal@reddit
I put a little garlic powder on top and then add extra shredded mozzarella. You could do minced or fresh too.
yobar@reddit
Local brand called Dogtown Pizza. Love the deluxe.

Good pizza and the pepperoni one isn't half and their cheese one hits the spot if you want a regular cheese pizza.
In second on the cheap side it's hard to beat Red Baron for the price.
jn29@reddit
Lottza Mottza sausage and mushroom.
BadgerTor@reddit
Red Baron is still my top
Fuligin_Cosplay@reddit
Cape Cod Pizza is a really great thin-crust pizza, but Wild Mike's is my personal favorite. It's not trying to be fancy or anything, it's just a "party style" frozen pizza, and it comes with packets of Italian seasoning and crushed red peppers.
MastiffArmy@reddit
Bola pizzas in Texas are 100% perfection.
SKULLDIVERGURL@reddit
Tombstone! It’s a throwback Wisconsin thing.
CarmenDeeJay@reddit
Can't eat it anymore, but my favorite growing up was Tombstone Pepperoni. Right now, it's Bellatori's GF thin crust or, as I just discovered last week, Pizza in a Bowl. It needs work, but all the flavors are there without the gummy gf crust issue.
CarmenDeeJay@reddit
Oh! Forgot! My husband's favorite pizza is Heggie's Pizza. They do NOT skimp on toppings and have a good sauce to toppings ratio. I think it's only available in the Midwest as of right now, but they are running fulltime and can barely keep up to demand.

Totino's has some kind of unique flavor I cannot taste anywhere else and it is very good, my favorite. I don't even buy it all that much, maybe once every few years. I remember they used to be under a dollar. They are really really good, I think there must be a lot of sugar in it or something.

Yeah super good sauce with that one. I also have a soft spot for digiornos stuffed crust. Really salty but hits the spot.

Have you tried that Croissant Crust? IDK if it was a limited time thing, or if the stores near me all stopped carrying it or what, but it was delicious. Like, it made my stomach super mad, but I really liked it and would accept the consequences.

You sure it’s not digornio? Google has convinced me that Screamin Sicilian does not make a croissant crust, disappointing me greatly

mandapandapantz@reddit
In North Dakota/Minnesota, there is a brand called Pizza Corner that my husband wakes up tasting occasionally.
beavertwp@reddit
Heggies too. MN and ND have the best frozen pizzas because there are tons of rural bars that don’t have kitchens, but also there aren’t any late night food options, so bars started selling frozen pizzas to drunk people, and they sold really well, and a sort of frozen “bar” pizza arms race took off. Eventually people just started buying them from the bar frozen to take home, so the pizza companies eventually started selling them in grocery stores.
blaine-garrett@reddit
Wisconsin too. My dad used to bring Jimmy Boy pizzas home from the bar. So much better than anything in the frozen aisle at the store. I do like that you can buy heggies now most places.
Awdayshus@reddit
They used to be based out of Valley City, ND and were owned by a guy who operated a restaurant also called Pizza Corner in Valley City. He sold the frozen pizza part of the business. The new owners shut down the Valley City facility and started making them somewhere else and the quality dropped a lot.
A year or two later, they reopened it and the pizza was good again. But by then a lot of places had dropped Pizza Corner and replaced it with Heggie's. That was actually what allowed Heggie's to expand into North Dakota.

The person who said there’s no such thing as bad pizza is wrong.
JoeMorgue@reddit
Listen I love pizza. I love good artisan pizza. I love the cheap slice you get at a mom and pop pizza shop. I like chain pizza. Hell I like the Costco Food Court pizza. I've had pizza in Italy, New York, and Chicago and I love them all. I make pizza from scratch sometimes.
But every once in a while, about once every 3 months or so, some weird nostalgia center in my brain fires off a neuron and I crave a school lunch pizza. A shitty little flat piece of cardboard bread, plastic cheese, oversweet sauce, and little spicy pepperoni nuggets. I know it's not good. You don't have to tell me it's not good but... I always have a Totino's Party Pizza or two in the freezer to bust out when those moments hit.
BullsOnParadeFloats@reddit
Costco food court pizza technically qualifies as frozen pizza.

All frozen pizza isn't great, but that's the best one I've found.

Stouffer's French Bread # Cheese Pizza. (3, 4?)
Like someone else said about Totino's, it doesn't really pretend to be actual Pizza. it's some new creation which is neither Pizza nor nonpizza.

Peppridge farm French bread pizza with pepperoni.

In NJ there is a brand of frozen pizza called Tree Tavern. It’s not amazing, but the nostalgia is there.

I really like the Newman’s Own thin and crispy white pizza!

Newman’s Own makes some nice ones, especially this one:

I don't remember who makes it but they advertise it as a brick oven house. That's the best. Also Digiorno.

I wouldn’t turn down a CPK bbq chicken frozen pizza; and I really appreciate Wild Mike’s basic cheese with the packet of Italian herbs and the packet of chili flakes, I usually wind up doing an adult half and a kid half.

‘90s Tombstone.
shelwood46@reddit
Depends. I grew up with Tombstone, and that is a particular kind of pizza, it reminds me of Wisconsin dive bars. Now I buy that, or for full size I get DiGiorno, but Red Baron makes these small diameter mini-pies that fit nicely in an air fryer that are great. Stouffers does the best french bread pizza. And those Mama Celeste microwave ones can be alright if you are tired and have the munchies and are broke. I will say, most of them have too little cheese, I added shredded mozzarella to nearly all of them. And I'm not a huge pepperoni fan, so I often get the supreme versions and pick the pepperoni off before cooking.

If I'm craving a frozen pizza, it's going to be one of those red baron French bread pizzas.

Digorno stuffed crust cheese pizza, but I add onion, Italian herbs, jalapeno, and pepperoni.
