Has anyone flown JSX out of Love?

Looking to travel to Vegas this labor day and noticed that JSX was only an extra $100 for a direct flight at a convenient time. Wondering if anyone can let me know how it is flying with them and if this would be worth it.

I wanna piggyback off this thread—has anyone flown JSX with a dog? Specifically a larger dog, and what was your experience like?

My wife and dog flew from SLC to DAL this week. As a policy, our 40lb dog was too large to fit under the seat in front of us and so we followed policy which dictates we purchase a second seat for the dog.
On the LAS to DAL leg of the flight, the seat we had purchased for our furry family member ended up being on the other side of the aisle from my wife’s seat (which was a window - she was in seat C and the dog would have been 2 slots and an aisle away in seat A). There is a nice table top seat in between. The seat being that far away meant our dog slept in the floor in front of my wife on her side of the isle, which is not a problem. The issue we have is that we were forced to pay for a seat on the other side of the aisle that was never going to be able to be used. I will only speak for our dogs but we have never had one that would lay down on the other side of the aisle from us and stay over there. In a stressful situation like flying they will want to be by you.
In our opinion, this was a complete money grab for a seat we had no chance of using when there was plenty of space in front of our seat and the table top seat next to it. The customer service rep I spoke to informed me that if the dog wasn’t going to stay over there we could have stored an extra small carryon under that seat. Really, buy an extra seat for a pet on a semi-private airline and only be able to use it to store a purse?
We don’t mind paying for the extra seat. BUT, if you are going to force us to pay for that extra seat it needs to be adjoining the seat we are in, not on the other side of the aisle where it and the space in front of it will be unused. A fair solution would be to charge us some sort of up-charge for our dog to lay on the floor in front of us and sell the other seat to someone who is going to be able to use it. In this case I guess the up charge is the cost of another seat.

I have. With an English Cocker Spaniel in December. Easiest thing ever. There were like 5 other large dogs on the plane. Every dog was well behaved and spread out from each other. Mine just went to sleep on floor in front of me and loved the vibrations!!! They gave her water. Such a pleasure to fly this way!

Would like to know this as well! First time flying JSX out of Love in August and taking a well behaved Golden with us. Advice would be appreciated.

On their website they list the requirements for flying with a dog. I believe it’s $100 and you have to fill out their one-page per form, but I could be mistaken (might be outdated info, it’s been a while for me).

Hey thanks! Yes, we’ve filled out all the necessary forms and fees. Will try and post our experience here after we fly.

I enjoyed how fast it was! You can only valet for $45/day vs be dropped off. There’s no parking.
You can get $100 if you use a referral code when you sign up on JSX. It helped me and I’m paying it forward

Omg yay!

Was the smaller jet a bumpier ride? My crew is a little skittish about turbulence.

All that I know about JSX is that they don’t even pay their pilots $20 an hour

I highly recommend it. Even though we live in Fort Worth it saves so much time. Pretty no frills but makes up for it in ease and less stress.

My fave combo is taking Alto to and from the JSX terminal
user9876543121@reddit
Yes I love it
Dangerous_Battle_603@reddit
My wife has for work, it's even better than first class because you don't have to deal with the main terminal at all. It's a private hanger. It's a charter jet experience, 10/10 worth it
MarcoEsteban@reddit
Is it in the old Legends terminal?
ImTheNumberOneGuy@reddit
Flew JSX to Vegas last December.
Everyone has mentioned the perks above that I echo. Another perk is the terminal in Vegas is minutes from the top of the strip. Took us less than 10 minutes to get to the Bellagio.
sableotter@reddit
The only downside is once you do it you’ll never want to fly anything else again..
FormerlyUserLFC@reddit
I've known people to rave about it. For an extra $100, I might give it a try if I'm not tight on money based on what I've heard.
youngandrestless51@reddit
Just do it! I’ve had a great experience every time
1uno124@reddit
I love it, honestly would fly it all the time if it went everywhere. Easy to get in and out, can't rave about it enough
dee_lio@reddit
JSX is wonderful.
All others are shit in comparison.

We’ve flown with them 3 times now and it’s a breeze. Easy parking, no TSA lines and boarding is seamless.

It’s amazing, you won’t regret it!
Throwawaytexxxan@reddit
Yes and it’s a game changer! You’ll never want to fly SW again.
Suziannie@reddit
I’ve flown with them a few times, it’s an exceptional experience! It’s true that you don’t need to be there more than 30 min early too.
