30 years of being days away from nukes. All it took was one person to believe. The catch here is that Iran indeed could have been close to having nukes because Trump trashed the JCPOA agreement that allowed us to inspect their sites to ensure they weren't. So it was 2 very calculated moves he made in favor of Israel.

I don't think this is a contradiction.

She previously spoke to their intent as opposed to their capabilities. It might be 100% true that the Iranians have no intent to enrich uranium to build bombs. It can also be true that they could redirect those capabilities to build bombs in a matter of weeks.

You’re right. I wholeheartedly supported Tulsi back when she was anti-warmongering especially unilaterally on the part of the Executive. So if Iran is that close to producing nuclear weapons then let Congress authorize the president to act as the Constitution states. Congress has access to classified material after all…
