One Last Cruise Around the Mall

One of the malls in our area that was extremely popular for spending Friday/Saturday nights cruising around back in the 70's and 80's is going away for good, and to honor it there is a final cruise around the mall that a local woman organized for nostalgia's sake. When I found out that shopping malls exploded in being built because of tax loopholes, and those loopholes being closed (combined with the rise of online shopping), I knew many of those buildings days were numbered. I personally still enjoy in person shopping and luckily have thriving shopping centers near me now-the ones I grew up with are all pretty much either ghost towns or gone.

A mall that was a major piece of my childhood throughout the eighties and nineties is going down this path now. Hopefully when the time comes, we can do something similar. I hope that you enjoy it.
