ULPT Request: How Do I Stop An Abusive Therapist?
Posted by Puzzleheaded_Oil9537@reddit | UnethicalLifeProTips | View on Reddit | 10 comments
I worked with a therapist for 3 years who emotionally abused me in ways that I do not care to discuss. She is a manipulative, abusive predator and she covered her ass the whole time. Any poor future client of hers will be subjected to the same abuse she subjected me to. The board complaint route didn’t work as she was great at leaving no paper trail. Any thoughts on how to legally get back at her?

Kris goodies on YouTube might have a video on this because she’s touched in similar topics

Or you can just rent a bot to spam call her works landline that way she won’t be able to take calls and book Clint’s in for a session

Report to a governing body and/or whatever associations she belongs to. I’m so sorry you experienced that OP.

Report her to her state board. If she loses her license and can’t practice, that’s pretty good revenge.

I did, and it was just he said/she said so the case was dismissed. She covers her ass and doesn’t allow for anything in writing (no email, text number, even no messaging in the portal). She would even call from a blocked number so there’s no technical documentation of any traceable communication.

You could send an anonymous report

Try one of the legal subreddits

Have someone you know start seeing her and record the conversations.

Ooh this is a good one. She works out of California where 2 party consent is necessary for recordings though. Or at least for admissibility in court.

That's what audio sharing on social media is for...if your friend is comfortable.
Also, you don't need to go to court, you file with the state licensing board.
