Dudes. So, my kid wants to be a movie director. We watched the Big Lebowski together as one of our summer learning films. We dialogued about how its a quasi-parody of the traditional LA detective Noir films. So, I showed him the trailer for the Maltese Falcon. Whoah, Dudes. It's kind of eerie.

I watched LA Confidential for the first time recently. I love movies set in Los Angeles as well as noir films and gangster-type crime entertainment.. but I was mostly bored by LA Confidential, personally :(

I was excited to watch it for many reasons, but it just didn’t do it for me.

(But that’s just, like, my opinion, man 🤷‍♀️)
