All that the airlines and TSA care about now is flight safety. They don't enforce laws for the DEA, because their budgets don't provide for the enforcement of non-safety related legislation. (Analogous to how local police departments often won't work for Ferderal departments like DEA and ICE*, because they don't get reimbursed to perform the duties of a different department. This recent ICE crap is a goofy outlier.)

Airlines know that half of the population lives where stuff is now fully-legal and/or decriminalized, and a large chunk of the countries around the world only outlawed substances because the USA made such a stink about it. They don't waste resources when every 8th person smells like cannabis. Now that most of the USA no longer cares, those other countries really have no reason to care either.

Drugs won the War on Drugs. It's over.

Better yet, get a box of tea bags. Try to find some that are held shut with a staple and are not individually wrapped. Don't worry about whether or not you like that tea; it's the packaging you're after.

Grind the mushrooms, but leave them fairly coarse. Divvy it up into portions. Open up the tea bags, empty some out and replace it with shrooms. You might have to split each portion between two tea bags.

I've found that making shroom tea is just as effective as eating them, but it's far less likely to lead to violent and copious puking.

💯 the best way. I bought a bottle full of mushroom supplements from Amazon and then just use the bottle to put my capsules in whenever I travel. Not that it really matters about the specific type of supplement bottle you throw them into - once it is ground up and in a capsule they look just like any other supplement.

Drug dogs aren't trained to sniff for mushrooms and I don't believe there are field test kits that are regularly used for them or anything like that.

Places like that are much more concerned about weapons and stuff along those lines than they are about a small amount of personal use drugs that have been discreetly placed into capsules.

Might be too much work, but I allegedly once made mushroom chocolates, put them in an empty box of chocolates (in the little paper cups) and took them through airport security with no problems.

Basic steps:
Grind the dry the mushrooms into a powder, combine with melted chocolate in candy molds. To make them look more professional, drizzle melted Candy Melt over the top. Place in empty chocolate box and pray you don't have to go to prison.

My candy molds were in the shape of penises, and I used sprinkles to simulate pubes and white Candy Melt to simulate that the penises had some clarity. Oh and I put them in an old Valentine's Day heart box and passed them out at a big gay party that turned into an orgy after, coincidentally. Allegedly.

Buy some empty pill capsules, dry the mushrooms out if they're not already and dice them up small enough to put them in the pill capsules, put the pill capsules into a bottle of vitamins or some kind of supplement or something.
