How Should Tulsi React To Trump’s Dismissive Comment?

I have to say I’m quite disgusted by Trump saying he didn’t care what Tulsi had to say about Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
He brought her into the administration to be a voice of reason on foreign policy and national security issues. During the campaign, I came across an article that Trump took advice from Tulsi on how to approach foreign policy. However, Trump seems to be the same person he was in his first term. He campaigns on ending and preventing stupid wars, and then he surrounds himself with warhawks (this time with Rubio and Waltz).
If Trump continues his support of Israel, he’s betraying the trust and the will of the tens of millions of people who voted for him. This is what I want Tulsi to say to him in public and in private.

Tulsi will make better POTUS than Trump, for all I know. She will unify not just the US, but the entire world.

I think she’d do a great job on the foreign policy front because she’s been pretty consistent in her views and her demeanor will help her get along with leaders of other countries

Trump as a candidate/caterpillar is not Trump as the president.
Just like a butterfly, Trump now can fly without anyone who made him the president.

She shouldn’t be surprised in the slightest, she knows who she threw her lot in with

Deep in the belly of the beast.
I have faith in her.

Wait read the last part again just a little slowly. You seriously voted for trump and thought he wasn't just going to bend over to Israel? What reality are you living in cause it certainly ain't this one.

I’m saying he needs to remember why tens of millions of people voted for him

He's a unrepentant scammer lol, he sees you as a gullible sucker.
Right-wingers were always pro-exterminating minorities, lots of people warned you about it but you believed that he was a moderate because he was obstructed from enacting ethnonationalist decisions in his first term.
Good thing she kicked out those pesky transgenders instead of preventing war though! DMs in private group chats from minorities are more life-threatening than destabilizing an entire country.

Tulsi should stay focused, and not waiver. Just as foul smells disapate, this to shall pass. Continue to thresh out quality Intel. Can't help if stupid is as stupid does

President Trump’s Post speaks for itself.
President Trump probably could legitimately be impeached based upon his own posts alone without other investigations if he did authorize a new war without Congressional approval. If he only knew about the surprise attack but did not report it, I’m not sure what the implications are.
Impeachment is not going to happen, I know. The US has now started either directly or through proxy the Vietnam War, Iraq War and Iran War.
Note that China has not started a War not about their borders or assisting an Allie since 1950.

She should go find a mirror and acknowledge that the person looking back has no integrity, no intelligence, and now, no dignity…
I can NOT believe I voted for this tool bag back 2016…

She could pull an elon musk, make a dramatic scene, quit, and lose all her ability of making a difference. That would be the easy way out. Or she could try to hang in there in order to retain some control to try to at least prevent the worst case scenario from happening, which is now being unfolded in front of the world.
I can't believe the situation we are in as well, where the anti-war trump is intentionally playing dumb, and the usa war machine is fully backing a more and more unhinged israel. Makes me ashamed of being an American.

I agree. I think she’s doing all she can to steer Trump in the right direction, but it looks like Trump is caving to the neoconservative voices in his party. If this continues, I think it’s reasonable for Tulsi to resign close to the midterms or even after and then declare another presidential campaign

Trump is more of an Israeli asset than Russian. They will all fall in line even though they say they are anti war. Honestly, Trumps first administration was undesirable but they still recognized law and decorum. This group is loyalists, lackies, and lap dogs.

There is a of context we don't know and to assume that we do based on mainstream media is silly.
Miserable-Bit5939@reddit (OP)
Trump clearly said he didn’t care what she had to say and insisted that Iran is closer to building a nuclear weapon. What context are you looking for?
Garsondebramalo@reddit
I hope she resigns her position.
juflyingwild@reddit
She needs to declassify the intelligence reports so people know. And CC the UN, IAEA and other groups.

I totally trust Tulsi when it comes to doing what's right - and what's best for us - and for the planet. In the current situation we need her to continue to influence policy as much as possible, knowing that if and when she can add more value by resigning and speaking out against the current administration publicly, that's exactly what she'll do.
In the meantime, note that Tulsi's last public statement about Iran not building a bomb was (i believe) in March? And Iran did make some more recent moves, that may or may not have changed things. And Tulsi did very recently warn us (again) about how dangerous a nuclear exchange would likely be.
The truth is that we don't know what's going on in the background. And Donald Trump's track record has included a lot of bluster along with a very measured approach when it comes to using the military. So even if he's dismissive in a public statement it doesn't mean that he doesn't seriously consider Tulsi's input.
