I presume that is a G19? Just grip the damn thing.
Make sure you get the entire tang wedged tightly between your thumb and index finger for a solid grip, and tightly incorporate your support hand - you have to play around with your support hand to find what works for you, I noticed Gaston designed them with a Bop-It-Extreme in-mind, so I have to do a unique grip on the frame to accommodate both my my American hands.
If you still struggle, I recommend a 3D-printed thumbshelf from eBay (picatinny slot, not those dumb gas pedals that attach via trigger pin). I recently got one for my PSA Dagger, and it helps my grip tremendously.
