Souvenir from Budapest, what to buy(

Hello,
I have a list of things to do, places to visit and stuff to eat. Read somewhere that Rubiks Cube came from your city, so planning to buy one.
Can you suggest other things I can buy from the city, as souvenir back home. I try to get fridge magnets from places I visit. If you guys can suggest something unique to the place or things in general, that would be awesome.
edit: I guess I can buy some Hungarian books too, english translated of course. Suggestions would be great.
Thank you.

I'm going to update and tell you the best Magnet or souvenir shop for price is under central market hall around the corner from the Aldi in the basement is an old woman selling souvenirs. Go down escalator at the front of the just inside the door.
Rock bottom prices and you'd never expect her to be down there

One of my favorite shops for this is Magma Gallery on Petőfi Sándor utca 11. (one street over from Váci utca shopping street). Don't let the name scare you, they stock works of upcoming industrial designers at alright prices, considering their uniqueness. They have a smaller shop inside the Buda Castle district, but this one is their main base. They have some Hungarian novels in English as well, but it's not the main feature.
For that, head to Írók Boltja on Andrássy, the upper level is all foreign-language literature. For what to buy, see this thread. My suggestions would be anything from Magda Szabó, György Dragomán or Attila Bartis.
Fridge magnets you can pick up from any of the countless souvenir shops on/around Váci utca. Paprika Market is the largest souvenir shop of the country, they are back at Vörösmarty tér, steps from where Váci begins. Memories of Hungary is another noted competitor of theirs, they have a shop at the Basilica as well as at the airport.
If you want to take edible gifts, Pick winter salami and Tokaji aszú wine are great. There's a Spar supermarket at the arrival level of the airport that works with regular prices (as opposed to the very expensive duty-free), if you have the luggage space, shop there and check it.
