I recently acquired this electric bike from my papa. Its not great, i cant find much nfo on it at all other than it was sold in argos around 2021..
The battery is encased in the frame but I've took the screws out to release the wiring etc
I honestly don't know what I'm looking at or of this is even what i need to do, ive seen people before say look for a wide thats looped and unplug it?
Would that be the wire im the second image?
If anyone would be able to explaim to me what im looking at and if its possible, I'd appreciate it.

Like the other poster said... There is no cut wire on this one. That's very specific to some motos and it's a regulatory thing while still respecting that some folks use them as off highway off-road vehicles as intended
See if you can find the display on a Google lens search or something, track down the user manual for accessing settings. If there are adjustments for speed, they'll be in there. If not, then put the thing back together and focus on enjoying the ride :)

Oh damn that's properly oldschool!
I don't think you can fiddle with any settings on there. Might be best to leave this one alone. And honestly, just enjoy the vibe. I like those old-styled ones. Just what you need to know, nothing more. No fancy whatevers - just raw "here it works" lol

Crazy thing is the bike was built and sold in 2021, i they just used super cheap components with a nice designed frame its called an e-move hydro but therws just so little information online.

In the Uk all bikes are limited to 15mph, there has to be a wire here limiting the speed
JonnyFoxMTB@reddit
It's the software limiting the speed.

Can you see the image i have posted in other comments of the 'display' - its pretty analogue looking.. It's not a digital display

Cut the red wire.

There is no wire to cut, unplug etc. all speed limiter setting are done through display settings, if you already have the display setting maxed, your bike is limited by your battery voltage

* It doesnt have a display..
chuckwolf@reddit
Then you just have a regular bike, because without a display the motor isn't going to work, the display tells the controller how much power to send to the motor
