Help me choose my second bike?

So my partner and I are wanting to venture into e-bikes. We have a budget of ~6000 CAD for 2 bikes plus accessories. Bike one needs to be a cargo bike with the ability to carry 1-2 children. We have landed on the Aventon Abound LR. Which leaves us about $2500 for the second bike. This bike would be for joining family bikes rides but also for errands and quick grocery trips. Would the RadRunner Cargo be a good option for this one? Or should we go over budget and get Aventon Abound SR?

Can you link a few stores you can buy from. It’s always hard for me to get search results for Canadian sites.

Please do yourself a favor and stay away from Rad. If you want to stay in the Aventon brand, the Level makes the most sense for the mission you describe.
You could also consider the Ride1Up Vorsa which comes with an extra strong 150lb capacity rack. And has the option of being equipped with a child seat. It will also make for a better riding experience for a solo rider running errands. Can even handle light off-road trails.

What’s the reason from staying away from Rad?

They almost went bankrupt last year and seem to continue to flirt with doing so.

Poor quality control. Cheap components. Based on experience with older models. I have no reason to think they've changed.
