Well by the looks of that thing should have got a electric motorcycle or a Honda Grom and if the battery is on top its of balance the weight needs to be on the bottom for stability from here as well not much rake like a Yamaha Virago I had years ago get a triangle design battery and mount inside that waste of space on the bottom might be a decent class 4 E-Scooter I would hate to have to pedal that if a BMS system failure you enjoy that tank I'll stick to my mountain bike style e-bike an my motorcycles I bike pack with a dog trailer and I wouldn't even consider that an alternative well Safe Journeys
Look I do know what a grom is I own 3 e-bikes and ride a Road bike and own a 29r MTB I think I know what I'm talkin about I was riding when Cushman American Eagles were around so please excuse me if not for your own arrogance Have a Nice Day
I could see this over a Power Goat with a no pedal kit or something, but it s like the kids parents in the 00s who would not t their kids have a Stingray because it looked like a chopper.
Add a 5000 watt rear wheel kit 60v25ah gas tank battery and a 60v40ah triangle battery and it will be better then the g100 pro with far more range almost double
Can we create terminology to separate ebikes for people who need a little pedal assist, or commuters, etc, and those who think they are low power motorcycles?
I have a electric Fat Tire bike with a big π battery. But I redid the front sprocket and rear gears. I can still pedal to 28 mph with no power on and go up hills just by pedaling. What do you do on an electric motorcycle or small tire bike if you can't pedal and the battery is dead.
im not sure what you are meaning by what you are saying, but his point is valid, we would benefit for a term describing this style of bike vs one that is just pedal assist etc.
We don't call every bike a mountain bike, because we know that there is a fundamental difference between them.
Why be all gatekeepy though? The bigger seats on this style of bike makes them much more comfortable for many folks, letting people ride longer. My family has gotten more exercise in the last two week than they had in the last 10 years.
Sorry my families bikes are not cool enough for you.
That battery up top does make it top heavy. I am looking at if it could be moved to the down tube.
I would have to cut off those panels over the bottom bracket. As a mechanic, if you remember, were those support or just decoration/basket?
It is our spare, and if needed, I ride it (old, BMXer, Motorcycle rider, the most two wheel experience of the family,) or use it when my more street friendly bike might not want to go.
How has it been so far? I am purchasing a Happy G100 this week. Pros and Cons and about the bike and anything to look out for. I watched plenty of youtube videos on it, but need to know the longevity. Actual TOP speed. I keep hearing 35 mph and some say 38mph depending on weight, I am about 180
It runs well, and nothing is wrong with it, just know it is fairly tall, and top heavy. My wife tried to ride it once and ended up falling over. I am 180 and have been 32 on it. I hate to tell you this, but we like the G70 much better.
If you are at least 5'8" it will be fun.
I have a blast on it. I ride it around my property and small jump it and stuff, but I am six foot and have rode BMX since the 80s and motorcycles since the 90s.
We had it out for about 3 hours the other day, using it as a pedal assist bike mostly, and a little moped/street riding, and it still had lots of battery left.
I hope I don't scare you. It is a mixed bag, but if you are tallish, and comfortable on two wheels, you will be fine.
Lol I appreciate it the response, I am 5'7, so it will be perfect π. I plan on using it for daily commute to work and friends and family. I was mostly focused on beefing up the security with this bike, such as a angle grinder resistant lock like the on guard or the lite lock x1 with an alarm system gps tracker to it.

You should learn what ebikes are.

I'd hate to see how ppl explode, when a Hyabusa, without a license, fly past them !
Can't we all just get along?

There is in the UK - theyβre called electric motorcycles/motorbikes. Vs electric bicycle/ebike

Motorcycles don't have pedals.

Be careful with that weight ratio you go around a corner too quickly. It will be like Charlie Brown kicking a field goal and Lucy pulls the ball away.

There is damn near no rake or trail on that bike. Must be as twitchy as a squirrel on meth and a coffee enema
